I feel like when there's an inferior team, the next 5-10 min after getting scored on, the other team ends up producing a good chance. They have like 2 or 3 opportunities that if the ball bounced the right way they might score but usually doesn't happen. I really don't like him much but always fancied his celebrations their funny. Plus he's so old man, to bag a brace on Real like that is just epic. and that volley he scored in preseason at Camp Nou was just sublime, has to be top10 goals of 2010 easy
I hate Real Madrid and like almost all Italian teams but its always good to see teams that try to waste time at the end of the game get what they deserve. Love how Mourihno ran to some bench player after they scored and told him to go in right away to waste time.
Wow San Jose beat Red Bulls hahaha. Henry came on late and blew a wide open header to be a hero and send it to extra time. So MLS doesn't have away goal rule? So stupid, San Jose lost 1-0 at home, scored 2 then had 1 pegged back and would have had to go to extra time and have to score another. I'm guessing being the better seed you get to host the 2nd leg? Bobby Convey and Wondolowski killed it
Yeah he is not going to play there. His career isn't over, he's been hurt, but going to a mid table Serie A side would be a better move. Anyway I believe Ibra is a great player, but the facts- fight at Ajax Juve fans hate him Inter fans hated him (even when winning) pissed of all of Barca and now this well 5's a pattern
Well Juve he bailed as soon as they got demoted and forced a transfer, to the main rival of course. At Inter he was saying they couldn't win the Champions league and he needed to go to Barca even while he was in the Champions league with Inter. Ended up with him throwing gestures to the ultras after scoring goals. He is really good and delivers titles, no doubt about it, but you have to have a team built around it. I'd rather build a team of equal pieces as opposed to one guy. Or a superstar that can be an equal.
Bolton totally outplayed Spurs and won 4-2. HIghlight of the match is the Pav goal regardless, I'm starting to think if Russia should try and play a 4-3-1-2 with AA behind Kerzh and Pav.
I don't think he delivers titles. I think he is a good player that was on good teams that won titles. People were comparing him to Cronaldo and Messi a few years ago, which is silly.
Agree with the bolded part. But, at Inter, I felt he was absolutely influential in helping them win so many Scudetto's. He often was completely isolated up front with no real support, yet his technical skills are stunning for a player of his height. I know Inter won the treble last year, but they had a much better all around team than with Ibra (Sneijder, Eto'o, Milito, Pandev, etc.)
Technically brilliant goal. Plus Pav is a horse all over the pitch, and he's technical and has good understanding. Surprised Redknapp keeps going with Crouch, he's been a bum for the past few months
Ibrahimovic is a good player, I don't deny that. But what is not is one of the top ten players in the world, which some pundits were trying to say a few years ago, and which the price Barca paid seems to indicate they thought he was. The theory on Crouch is that English teams know how to defend and neuter him, while European squads do not. You can take that or leave it.
Spurs fans seem to think that Pav is useless in the build up and that he can't pass. I wouldn't go that far. Although a lot of them would rather he start over Crouch.
