    Sloppy, sloppy, sloppy.

    It's an attitude problem.

Jol likes sloppy play and we're not going to play any different football while he is our coach. And Auxerre is 15th in the French league, that's almost as bad as Feyenoord. I'm sure we don't have to scare them to beat them. But anyway, I don't see why Ffan would worry about UEFA points since a) he's got bigger things to worry about and b) it will be a long time before Feyenoord will be playing in UEFA again, if ever.

a: No, I havenot got anything to worry about as after the winterbreak everybody will be healthy again and then we are going to make you happy by making PSV sorry about the trashing in the return match.

and b: I am looking ahead and within two years we will take the second spot (if not the first spot) and I really want that still to be a champions league spot.

I mentioned AC, but of course I ment Bremen vs Twente.

You are aware that Feyenoord has been champions 3 times (one of them thanks to Cruijff) in the last 35 years? And that Feyenoord is now worse than they have ever been in the past 50 years?

Don't you think that realism would be less painful than optimism at this point?

  5. No, I am a happy person without any doubts what so ever.

Oh, are you talking about the Eerste Divisie?

  7. Yeah, you keep on dreaming.
By the way, AD Sportwereld summed up that Ajax has the tendency to loose points in a match before or after a CL match, especially in away games. So in this weekends clash of the Greek Heracles is going for the kill:D
Wonder if that Ajax youngster comes up with another 4-1 win like he predicted before Excelsior.
But hey, still time to land a good bribe for the ref:p

  8. I'm a little reassured by FC Twente's performance of yesterday against PSV. Janssen was back being the man with the golden foot. He's going to score the winning free kick against Bremen.
Ajax wasnot good except for the last 20 minutes, but that was hardly a surprise as Heracles ran their socks off to get the equalizer and payed with giving room in the back yard and coming short of energy. So for the coming match against Auxerre I'm still not in a confident state of mind.
Hope that Luis finds the target again over there.

this is why you support feyenoord, you don't recognise quality :p

bremen at home will win against twente, no matter in what dire state they are and how they have lost their last league game while twente won theirs.

they win because they are at home in an european game and have the psycholigical advantage of having beaten twente at home last season as well.

ajax will win against auxerre because we're the better team, even though auxerre are on their way up and currently 9th just behind lyon. we win because el hamdaoui is in the form of his life, not luis.

    :D

  10. You're definitevely wrong on the first, hopefully wrong on the second and hopefully right on the last one.
Read an article (in AD Sportwereld I think) about FC Twente making its mark as the main contender for the title and how that signals huge financial problems for either PSV or Ajax, as these budget with CL matches and income.
So you must hope that both Twente and Ajax make an impact, sothat we take back a third CL spot or either you or PSV is going to suffer.

articles don't mean much to me since their outlets change opinions daily. :D

psv, ajax and twente have visited bremen at home recently and always lose with more than 3 goals, i don't say the same will happan today but bremen are indeed the favourite yet again considering past results.

douglas was victimised against feyenoord and some say he has redeemed himself against psv, they can turn around and blame him again after tonight. it happends. janssen is twente's main man so far, but a red card for instance can set him back again.

Just to get the record straight: if Twente DO beat Bremen to night you're going to come on here and praise Twente for a massive achievement rather than attribute it to bad refereeing or luck?

Exactly. We're the only side in the top three that doesn't budget in CL revenues. For us it's no financial bother if we don't qualify for it. For Ajax and PSV it is.

I think it takes more than one season's results to move up in the CL rankings. It's doubtful that we will get three CL spots any time soon.

Possible in 2 years, we only need 1 bad year from Portugal.

we can forget it now. We've got three full backs injured as you all know. Now both Brama and Janssen (previously reported fit) are out. I have no idea whatsoever what the line-up will be. No bloody chance whatsoever with this lot.

    THIS SUCKS.

Werder is only 11th in the German league. You are overestimating them on the basis of their budget and beating them would not be a "massive achievement". An achievement sure, but they are not even sub-top at the moment.

However, without Brama and Janssen (especially him) you don't stand a chance. That's probably true.

kind of funny considering how someone on here thought they could cope without janssen at the beginning of this season.

they may have bought roda's janssen, but i can see theo moving on after this season (especially since was on a rampage earlier about not being allowed to leave), might even be in the winter stop when a good offer comes in.

so to answer fey fan, no i don't think twente will dominate from now on if they keep spending their transfer money on the likes of janko and rosales. :p

Actually at the start of the season Tiote was the outstanding player of the Johan Fruitschaal. Then Tiote left a lot of people said we were left with a mediocre midfield. I think you were one of them even.

We can deal without either Brama or Janssen and have proved that in the past. To miss both is too much though. No team in the world can easily cope without its backbone.

Of course Theo will leave us at some stage, and for good money too: two Bundesliga sides are interested apparently. But what on earth are you talking about, him not being allowed to leave earlier. No-one's ever been interested in him before this season. And he extended his contract with us earlier this season.

You might want to check on the performance of Dutch clubs including your own in Germany over the past two decades or so.

i was wrong, he was mad because you tried to hassle him with the contract i remember now, it was another dutch player who was mad about not being allowed to leave and is now playing in the epl. :p
