    Here's my translation:

Song Jong Gug departs for Feyenoord on the 5th

Song Jong Gug, who joined Netherlands' professional football club Feyenoord of Rotterdam, departed on flight KLM 866 at 12:40 in the afternoon.

Song, one of the key players in Korea's miracle run to the semi-finals of the World Cup 2002, left for Amsterdam with his brother Song Jong Hwan and Pusan Icons manager Jung Yung Sang after completing all paperwork domestically including receiving his work permit.

Song, who plans to join his team as soon as he unpacks, has completed all the required player registration process and is expected to make his debut as early as the home game against Excelsior on the 11th (Korean time).

After taking pictures with fans and saying his goodbyes with his parents, Song remarked, "Even though my departure date turned out to be later than expected, I have continually worked on my fitness at the gym in the meantime, so there shouldn't be any problems for me fitting in" and "while my heart wants to get out onto the playing field as soon as possible with each passing day, I want to step out onto the match after slowly bringing my fitness to its top condition."

Song added, "The World Cup was a success but since now is when it gets really important, I want to play with a fresh mind." "Since the Netherlands will be a starting point on the road to the big leagues, if I am able to show a good performance, my chance (to enter the big leagues) will come at some point."

He's due to arrive at 5PM at Schiphol Airport, so it's only a trip of 4h20...

It will be interesting to see if they play him and Ono at the same time!

No I didn't forget (I know KLM doesn't have supersonic jets), it's just my weird sense of humor...

Well, he finally arrived and met at Schiphol tecbical director Rob Baan an his new Dutch fanclub.

He has all the necessary papers and possibly could be a substitute in the match against Excelsior on the 10th (local time).

I just hope that he doesn't embarrass himself.
I know a lot of you would object but IMHO, Song is overrated. He's defensive skill is good but not better than Hong MB. He runs fast, has above-average passing and shooting skills using both feet, and can play multiple positions. But that's about it! He lacks offensive abilities and flair compared to say, Ono.
I hope he proves me wrong.

if he is overrated then who isnt?
last 30+ international matches, he never had any bad game(including regular league matches), and he played all games full.

I expect him to play behind Emerton on the right flank, on the wingback position Emerton used to play. Since Emerton and Song seem to have similar qualities (good skills, fast, lungs with unlimited capacities...) he should do well on that position.

When Emerton and Song keep on running down the flank, I think the wingback of the oposition will have problems keeping up with them...
