Agreed. Just how many have alr bought the vapors and SFs! Anything that makes a player 'runs fast' will sell.

im not sure what to make of the weight reduction in sf3's especially if the comfort level of sf2's suffer.

I'm not you can make it seem like they are less comfortable, but lighter.

I think thats what most people will make of it.

    Just a thought

Once i broke in my SF1 they are actually really comfy, you just have to put up with them being uncomfy for a while while they DO break in. But i think thats pretty much the same with any lightweight synthetic boots, Afterall ppl have been complaining that the adizero synthetics are really uncomfy.

    Agreed!

BTW, is it so hard for Nike to go back to these: http://cgi.ebay.de/Nike-Mercurial-V...Rugby_Boots&hash=item4cf188dc17#ht_500wt_1154

blah!!!!! the adizero crews are back trolling the Nike board? when will this ever stop.

My SFII were really comfortable OUT OF THE BOX! apart from getting half a size too small, they were the best cleats I have had.
I love k-leather boots but they overstretch and soak up like mad in the rain. IMO.

Other then the price tag, there is absolutely nothing wrong with the SFII, I guess that's why they cost more?

JJV: I have a pair of MVII and they are nowhere near as good as the SFII. The fit is actually much better in the SFII. The MVII is very comfortable too though and the upper is softer but it's not as tight and closely fitted as the SFII. So I think the SF series are going the right direction with the look and performance, but again price is a bit extravagant.

Naruto, I've always liked your style but now, I might actually despise you! Only kidding! But MV I, II and even III are the best MV-boots, SL's and SF I's are close, but can't match with I's and II's. So all in all, my favourites are:

    1. MV I & II
    2. MV III, SL & SF I
    3. SF II

Vapor IV, V and VI can't even be mentioned in the same message with those above...

You guys are so stupid sometimes.

But to answer the guys question. I think the majority of people prefer the Legend I. Most say the leather on the I's is better

Are they still making the legends out of k-leather?
I'm fearing Nike might just ditch k-leather all together.

Not gonna lie though, the kanga-lite material Really softens up once u fully break it in.

at least ditching k leather for kanga lite isnt too bad. adidas have started using the taurus leather or what ever it is...its nice and soft but give it a month or 2 and its a mess!

IMO, for my foot at least the SFI are the absolute best Mercurial boot out there. It may be because my "vapor feet" never had a break in time with these shoes but they were so thin, light, and fitting. The MVIII is a very close second (along with maybe the K-Leather MVI now that I finally own a pair but have only wore them once) My only problem with the MVIII though was that even though they form fitted to your foot, if you stopped wearing them for a period of time and came back, the toe box became drastically smaller and it was very painful to break them back in to form to your toes again. So for me it has to be a top 3 of SFI, MVIII, and MVI-K. I do have a soft spot though for the MVIV since I scored against UCONN in them 2 years ago.
