wow at last good news, this is bcos of what i said pages back, hmm they are keeping an eye on me. lol
hi, just a question. what is the difference between fake boots like the many boots on ebay and the real product ?
I know its been asked before but, my superfly 1s absolutely stink of cat pee since getting a soaking last week. I've took the insoles out and frebreezed them, let the air and let the boots dry out. I've also tried trainer deodorant but NOTHING seems to get rid off the smell! Anyone have any suggestions? appleCORR
I think you can return them actually, there was a huge investigation back in the time of the Vapour IVs and loads of the Nike boots at the time stunk of cat pee they said you can return them, not usre if they'll still do it though
that was on watchdog, i remember it well parents and kids were saying about the smell, http://www.bbc.co.uk/blogs/watchdog/2008/11/stinky_trainers.html
put those downey dryer sheets in them or anytype of those, I put one in each of my vapor III and it did the trick until I played again in the rain of course haha!
It may sound a little rediculous at first but it really works. I did it for my superfly I's and vaporVI's. Go buy a pair of pantyhose and the strongest smelling coffee you can find. Then divide the coffee evenly between them. Shove them into your boots making sure that you get them all the way to the toe and wash your laces and insoles in a load of laundry. DO NOT put your insoles on a dryer let them air dry or sit in the sun. In about three days that smell will be completely gone.

Looks like some limited edition sort. Anyway, with that crazy price, who would buy it? Tho I have to say that I rly love that pair!
Hey all, i havent posted in a while, butttttttttt my Vapors sls (thats right IV) had a sole plate crack a long time ago, they still fit so i figured i could wear them and they would be fine. High school season passed and they were fine, and i decided it was time for some new ones. I send them into nike. They send them BACK TO ME, saying it is just outsole wear. I still use them for practice now and its getting close to 2 years manufactured date and i want some money for them (i have to pay for my cleats). The lace cover has ripped now and im thinking i should be able to turn them in, correct? but the idea that they sent them back for a complete sole plate crack makes no sense. Thanks in advance! PS if the vapor 7s (its gonna be seven not eight right?) are anything like vapor III for under $210 bucks, i will probably buy 80 pairs for posterity
Yes it does mean everything you said. I agree a K-leather vapor would be nice but I think the AdiZero will flame out with the next model. Between the cleats breaking off and the fact that the new ones are butt ugly will seal the deal for them. They should have kept the boot simple. Can't say for sure but being that they are youth, I doubt it. Current catalog pics are of the lace cover model....Nike gave out a special packet that was the updated info.
I have never seen those before, they could be a limited run in some sort of national team silo or NikeID because they had ID for Vapor II's when they were in production. I don't recall all the color options for trim on the boots but they may have allowed you to do the soleplate and heel trim in a different color as the swoosh. They look pretty cool, but I am 50/50 on as to if they are fakes.
I think Nike should introduce the "retro" concept to footy boots. Similar to what the jordan brand does with their sneakers, they re-release an old, but popular sneaker. Nike should do that with the vapors(I-III) and legends I
