The main rule is to post on the EPL forum in your individual league. The Google Doc and here is based on league rules set up by Chrissuttonslippers.
If it hasn't caused an issue with anyone elses transfers then we can let this one go and I'll PM him to let him know that he must post first and foremost on the FPL forum. If it has caused issues with someone else transferring players in to their team then Sam will have to transfer the player(s) back out again and take the penalty pts hit.
Crap, sorry guys. This was my first transfer, and I needed to get Valencia out of there. Let me know what I should do to make this right. Just PM me and I will fix it as best I can.

I'm fairly happy with my squad, surprisingly enough. So I've withheld the urge to dabble when it hasn't been required. That may change before Saturday though...
Has the transfer caused a problem? Does he need to remove the player or players? If yes, then he'll need to do it before Saturday's matches and take the hit. If not then I've PM'ed him asking him to post the missing transfers on the FPL forum and to do so in the future.

You don't have to update Google docs but it is a handy and easy point of reference for everyone when looking at making moves, as long as it is kept up to date. I don't mind doing it just as long as I know that it needs done.
Please accept my apologies for possibly making this an issue that no one else cares about. But why are you updating google for Ajax when he has never made a transaction on the FPL forum, which to my understanding is the one and only official source of transfers. He has had 2 players score 34 points on his roster for 3 weeks and no transaction has been posted. I never look anywhere other than the FPL forum for transactions before I make one. It was only by chance that I noticed the transaction here and nowhere else.
No need to apologise Footy. He got it wrong. No doubt about that and it could have caused you a serious issue but you were fair enough to raise the concern without escalating it by selecting any of the two players he chose without placing them on the FPL roster (which you could have rightly chose to do as it didn't make it official, and still hasn't). I have PM'ed him on this and asked him to 1) Post the transfers on the FPL forum 2) Follow correct procedure from now on I'll check all teams either tonight or tomorrow to make sure Google docs is completely up to date and I sincerely hope that Ajax has the transfers posted on the official forum asap.
Yeah I'm pretty happy with my team right now. In a pretty good position with Van Persie not playing...
It's nice to be able to look at Google Docs if it is updated to see who you may or may not be able to pick up. Every team in one place, easy search options... Of course I can't figure out who to trade or keep, my team is so messed up, so I don't have to worry about posting anywhere!

Elmohamady was previously known as Al-Muhammadi, and has already been on another team (Top Shelf) since draft day. Given the changed spelling, I'd propose no penalty to correct this (i.e., make a new transfer and keep track that you need to add 4 points to your score to adjust for the automatic deduction), but that's up to your league to decide.
I was just going to post what Blech said. When the game first started, he was listed as Al-Muhammadi. Somewhere along the line they changed the spelling to Elmohamady, so in fact they are one and the same and he is very happy on my team
