KK179: Sometimes Hope is a Crazy Thing.

-- I still need to download a good Photoshop hack/crack.

-- I should be working on some CSS, and keeping myself busy while I wait for the Duisberg match to start at 5 a.m. Unfortunately, I'm dead tired and I'm thinking about just watching that tomorrow afternoon instead of the WPS championship.

-- I have to set aside some time this weekend to put together my people's furlough and vacation time. Five people, 7 weeks vacation, 5 weeks furlough in a 12-week period. With 2 holidays thrown in for good measure. And try not to give them more than one day of furlough in a 2-week pay period. I could shit gold bricks and piss Chanel No. 5 easier.

Actually, I may try some cracks this weekend at some point. But if those fall through, I may send you a PM. I just don't want someone else's PS to not work if I end up using their serial number.

 

I'm a graphic designer.

And I'm so sick of graphic design, I'm thinking about paying someone to do a logo for me.

 

I received my degree in Graphic Design from a very well-respected 4-year art college. I was an Art Director for many years.

Now I sell tickets for a professional soccer team making about 1/3 of what I used to. I'm poor... but I'm happy.

 

I also think it's one of those things where if I was more distant from the project at hand, it would be a bit easier. But nothing's coming to me.

But I know what you mean. Unfortunately, I'm in print journalism at the moment, so I really, REALLY can't afford to go into a lower paying job.

Whew. Finally I have a 'normal' week at work with no one out. I'm going to enjoy my last cancer stick before going to bed for a nice, full, 8 hours of sleep.

 

I need to line up a school or another job before then. But things are lining up.
