After Dembele's injury this past week, speculation is that Clint and Zoltan Gera will start up top for Fulham. Tim Howard will almost certainly start in goal for Everton.

Hmmm, interesting, I wonder who's the 1st offensive sub(assuming Fulham need it, of course) Kamara or EJ, it probably depends on how healthy Kamara is.

If healthy there would likely be no question, but given Kamara only has a 70 minute reserve fixture appearance under his belt, who knows?

This game is being played at a really frantic pace.

Everton have had much more possession, but haven't created much in the way of scoring chances.

1st sub for Fulham looks to be Chris Baird for Kelly.

Fulham's attack has been very disappointing this first 35 minutes.

I can't say I'm disappointed, as it looks just about as threatening as I expected it to look.

Excellent header by Etuhu right into the hands of Howard.

The first good chance of the entire match.

Really nice save from Schwarzer there on Arteta.

Dempsey insults Howard by hitting a weak shot from 40 yards.

EDIT: Haha, wow, I think my stream is way behind.

Not the most entertaining half. Everton had a lot more of the ball, but didn't create much. As for Fulham, well, what can you realistically expect from a team playing midfielders as forwards? I thought Salcido looked good. It's early days, but Fulham looks to be the winner in the Konchesky to Liverpool deal.

I thought Fulham's big problem was their midfield, they were getting outworked and outnumbered by Everton's midfield. They started coming back into the game a little more towards the end of the half.

    EJ in for Gera.

Man, Hughes really is seeing something in the guy. Excellent.

What? That he's the only healthy striker who can give him 40 minutes today?

Yeah yeah, I know. But this is Johnson's third straight game, and I certainly didn't expect him to get subbed on at 54".
