To be perfectly honest, the writing has been on the wall for a while.

    This is where you scream:

He doesn't get called to the bench in premier league, doesn't get called to the bench in CL, gets 45 minutes in Carling Cup...

I think Gio needs to look for a team to go to during the winter, and his dad needs to start bitching about his son not playing like he does for stuff that happens with the Mexico NT. Oh wait, he probably doesn't have the balls to say something to Redknapp or any of the people at the head of the club...

Yeah, since the Tottenhams is the financial daddy for Gio and they own him right now. Gio needs to go back to Spain or go to Italy.

Yep, Tottenham pays for the bills. But what rubs me the wrong way is how there is a double standard when it comes to the dad intervening in his kids' businesses.

We don't see him bitching about how Gio doesn't play, or complaining about Jona not making it in Barcelona's A squad in a regular basis.

But he does complain about anything regarding the NT. I bet you that if Gio or Jona played in a Mexican team and they were in the same situation of not getting playing time as desired, the dad would be all over in the media complaining and talking smack.

Anyway, I think Gio needs to get out of Tottenham in December or he's gonna be our next Nery.

they always but him in a line up with the slowest players that dont make runs so he can't work his magic and they never pass him the ball cuz they are in the same boat trying to impress since they too are bench warmers

we know how harry is he rotates his favorites over and over

Some people do look for excuses, but most of us are just big Gio fans and we know what he is capable of. GIO PLAYED BAD TODAY, that is a fact. Does that make him a bad player? No. Form is temporary, Class is permanent. His body of work is already bigger than a whole lot of players(including any U.S. player, not that that says much).

He was in the Barca youth ranks at age 13, FIFA U-17 WC Silver Ball 2005, FIFA U-20 WC Bronze Ball 2007, CONCACAF Gold Cup Most Valuble Player2009, FIFA World Cup young player of the tournament 2nd place 2010

That body of work says Gio IS as good as we think. Nonetheless i was EXTREMELY dissapointed in Gio today. There were times when he would be too close to his teammates and he would not try to drag a defender with him and open up space. Other times he would not make good runs when his teammates were in position to pass. He NEVER took defenders on 'one on one' which is his strength. I dont understand why. His aggressiveness is what makes him dangerous. He needs to play HIS game, with confidence. I havent lost faith in Gio, remember he is still only 21. But GIO PLEASE, GET YO SHIT TOGETHER!!

Gio doesn't look confident out there, period. He looks like he's scared to mess up rather than daring to be great.

This! He used to be more aggressive. At what point do you start Barrera over Gio on the national team going off their respective forms?

They should have invited a few trannies and made it a real party!

    :D

Cool vid though, it's odd to see these guys just hanging out and grilling their own meat. It's odd that I think it's odd to see these guys just hanging out and grilling their own meat. Oddity abounds.

It's so odd that you think it might be odd when in reality it isn't really odd.
