MLSnet Says Revs Won '07 MLS Cup...!

Laughed, but sadly, when when I read this....on MLS's gear site.

New England Revolution - Founded on October 17, 1995, the New England Revolution joined nine others as Major League Soccer’s original ten in the 1996 inaugural season. Since its inception, the Revolution have been one of MLS’ most successful teams, competing in the playoffs ten times, with three MLS Cup Championships. In 2007, they earned both a U.S. Open Cup and MLS Cup championship. Since 2002, the beautiful Gillette Stadium has been called home by the team and its fans.

Ahh, the good old days when we were winning everything in sight.

At least, according to MLS, we're still "one of MLS' most successful teams." Or is it that we "have been"?

There's probably a youngster or two in Nicaragua or Gabon wearing a "Revolution 2007 MLS Cup Champions" T-shirt. That's success, sort of.

The old MLS website said we were "North American champions" after we won SuperLiga.
