    DiMaria says:

"oh where? Oh where? Oh where did all the haters go? Queresma? Is that who you said i was? Oh, where...where did all the haters go?

Sorry, watching a replay now, just saw DiMaria score one of the most beautiful goals you will see.

Dude, just last week your team Barca lost 0-2 at the camp nou to Hercules! RS are a much better team in my opinion and are playing great. Wait until tomorrow when your team loses to Athleti!

Overall what a great game to watch! I like the fact that Ronaldo showed more inclination to pass the ball. Not only Ronaldo, but this shooting from distance is not going to get Madrid anywhere. Sure, some lucky or spectacular goals may come, but be patient and attempt to create better chances. Ozil was tired! Canales should have got the start in my opinion, but i'm not sure if he would have been able to keep his head above water. All respect to Real societat or however you spell their name, it was a wonderful performance by them. They came out and played like their very lives depended on it, while Madrid came out and played tired. Our defense did a great job of holding up, but you could see an obvious dip. I think this was due to our midfield not holding up as well as usual.

Nevertheless, teams always have bad games. Games when you just don't come out on your game. Why do you think the best basketball team of all time, the 95-96 bulls, absolutely dominant in every sense of the word with MJ, Pippen, Rodman, and a host of other players, while breaking the all time winning record in the NBA, still lost 10 games throughout the year? This was an unstoppable juggernought, and yet still lost to some abysmal teams throughout the year. But if it was in the NBA finals and they had to win, no way they would lose. Sometimes you're just not on your game, and it is those times that great teams come through and get a favorable result. I think we did that! And i'm very proud of the team, they are coming together nicely.

To the Barca fan, imonfirebarcarules, just wait until tomorrow to see what your hero Messi and Barca do. Already having lost to Hercules at home, 0-2, we will see what they do when a competent team is at home against them. I'm figuring a 3-1 thrashing of your heroes! Good luck tomorrow!

If CR and Pipita were to have finished just one in four of the chances they have had this season they would both be leading the goalscoring charts at home and in Europe.
Neither they, or indeed those who have played alongside them, need help creating this season, the problem has been finishing.
Kaka is obviously a very good player with plenty to offer, but I'm not sure he could have done any more than Ozil, Canales, Di Maria and Leon have so far this season.

I was just insinuating that if people are going to start blaming Mourinho for the type of football played against R.Soc then there idiots. What was some expecting? To go there and destroy R.Soc playing wonderful football? I would like to see a few other big teams go there and play the type of football they want.

As for Ramos. Same ********ing mistakes over and over and he needs to learn. I mean they almost scored over his "relaxed" defending. If it wasn't for Iker, they would of equalised. Thats why JM shit a brick and decided to launch water bottles. He is experienced and should know better in that situation.

As for asking too much? No your not.

I think Khedira's injury definitley played a part. The chance we conceeded which eventually saw Pepe booked for dissent was given away because Khedira couldn't jump to contest the header. It was pretty soon after the initial injury and he was still moving around gingerly. That knock curtailed Sami's much needed physical presence for the game -- I think he should have come off earlier.

I thought Ramos had a poor game last night. Very careless in possesion and his postional play was all over the place. Iker lambasted him for that headed chance on goal we gave up in the early stages. Where the hell was he?

Marcelo does have a problem with not closing people down. Needs to start getting tighter and showing players in on their weaker side (if they can pull of what Di Maria did then you just have to hold their hands up) but he does struggle significantly when we're under the kosh.

Great goal from Di Maria, but I would like to see him compete a bit more physically. He still looks weak out on the pitch.
same story for CR and Higuain... neither is firing and both look frustrated, but most importantly neither is hiding. they will both turn it around.

Kevin's comments about La Real playing like this in all their home games then they'll be anything but relegation fodder were annoying me. This is their game of the season. The one players and fans a like earmark when the fixtures are announced as the big game. They'll play many times throughout the season with much less intensity and passion and get their asses handed to them at the Anoeta. How many times has football taught us that?

I've been asking myself that same question for the past several years. We've got to have a little patience with a (once again) new team and new manager.

Yesterday wasn't the best game I've ever seen us play, but it wasn't the worst. Thanks to Pepe's deflection of Ronaldo's free kick, we got the 3 points. Gritty game. We've definitely got some character developing. These types of games are hard for a new team to win.

When did Lassana become so bad?

I remember not 2 years ago, everyone had lassana as their motm rather consistently, and I just loved the hustle he brought to the team and work ethic, today he was playing so far up, and was making such silly passes and shots, I never really understood why Pellegrini lost faith in him until this game.

3 points in the Basque Country that's all that matters.

As far as I remember he has only been there once and that was at an exhibition game during their centenary celebrations.

    Yes.

Higuain needs to learn to run back to get the ball sometimes instead of wait for it to come to him.

They say the mark of a champion is that they win even when they don't play well. With that being said Madrid needs to start playing well because this isn't going to cut it for an entire season. I also felt a tinge of jealousy this past week watching Barca play the Greeks not because of the goals but because they always play well even when they don't score alot or win. The home fans are also not going to be content with these types of performances for an entire season. Although the results are there this is a typical for a Mourinho team.

You have been here since 2007, you should know better that Real Madrid is a team that rebuilds every summer. And if you don't want to be jealous of barcelona then stop watching them and focus on your team only, you don't want to be the one with the inferiority complex now would you?

The only jealousy i feel when watching Barcelona is for the opponent, that i'm not there to give Dani Alves the sliding challenge he deserves. :(

I'd volunteer to go in two-footed and completely miss the ball just to see how he reacts when he truly is injured. Does he pound the pitch with his fist when he's really hurt? How many body rolls does a real injury warrant?

    I can't see how people aren't happy

Tough team, away game, NEW YOUNG RM TEAM, NEW COACH, and yet we still came away with a victory in a game we could just as easily lose (both historically and on their current home form)

    Be happy kids. :p

This is especially true. Everyone has their own opinion and can write anything on this board, especially when it's our jackass.

Nobody in this board is subject to their opinions not being questioned. Both you and I are subjected to criticism when we post something ridiculous. You have been relentless these couple of weeks with your moaning and cheeky non-comical humor and you got called out on it.

And with regards to this...well its hard not to make a comeback when I got 4 rep points with my previous post. Peeps make it hard for me to stay civil. :D
