Or because you pulled something out as fact with no explanation, insisted it was correct by telling everyone else to "shut it", pulled out a blatant distortion about a game a lot of us like, and then suggested that we're somehow weird for being hockey fans and non-Canadian at the same time. Like I said -- you were being an asshole.
OK, Fair enough. I apologize for mocking you for enjoying hockey. As for my fact, I thought it was pretty widely known and accepted that more people play soccer then basketball in the world today. Although according to this website Cricket has basketball beat...so I stand corrected. http://www.worldsbiggests.com/2010/04/top-10-most-popular-team-sports-in.html As for central OH, I couldnt find facts, but Id have to say not nearly as many people play hockey in central OH as they do Basketball. God knows Football is #1,2,3 and 4 in Central OH.
I'm trying to figure out why it matters what most people play in the world? Also why that makes any point in your argument. It doesn't. American Football isn't on the list and as said it's the most popular sport HERE. Popularity also wasn't brought up other then by you as you were backing into a corner. Why your taking so much heat is as said. You call out fans of a semi popular sport then compare them to the Crew's most hated rival, with your little TFC comment. You then assume and tell us why we like a sport. I'm a season ticket holder for a semi-pro hockey team up here and regularly go to Pittsburgh Penguin games. Although I do like the occasional fight I would still be just as much of a fan if they ever made the mistake of getting rid of fighting in hockey all together. Can we trade you to Toronto for a hockey fan? Don't worry they have the Raptors up there.
Does anyone feel like this would mock MLS and feed the whole "MLS is mickey mouse/bush league" mouthpieces?
An NBA team in a small market that can't keep seats filled in a smaller non Basketball city. This story is semi familiar in most smaller markets because on top of not being HUGE NBA markets players are also not pumped to play for these smaller market teams. They want to be in big markets with lots of attention and media for them and their friends.
Well, yeah. But then I saw his guest stint on 'The League', last night. As V the Mouth might say: "Serious Acting Chops, Bay- beeeeeee!" heh. Actually in the end, it wouldnt make any difference. Remember how the Reds were treated when they signed Deion Sanders? Yet, it sure didnt hurt them.
HE RESPONDED TO MY TWEET AT HIM! @JosephAKon can I play for real? OGOchoCinco @JosephAKon I read an article saying it wasn't possible but I'd love to
I would donate my next two paychecks to charity to observe Ochocinco and El Toro Negro at Kahoots, together.
