give them alex nimo in exchange? I could go for that...
but like Nimo, JW wont be making the 18 unless we run into some serious injury/fatigue trouble (knock on wood)

Sturgis actually had a great assist on one of Montero's goals this past week.

this guy just cant stop scoring...
glad to see him doing well, really wish we could have found a way to keep him. But that would mean no Sabo, and Sabo > Yura... so it all worked out

Ballouchy traded to DPRB from Crapids, not a bad upgrade for him

They are pretty set at striker, so not sure where Kandji will fit in. Maybe they just want to forget about the KB5 trade all together

I'd put him on the wing
that makes Colorado have a pretty decent attack
The dick head, the cummings, and now Kandji? Not too shabby, but you still will find a way to finish 9th cRapids

For Talley's sake, I hope they don't put him on defense. But with Rafa marquez there, I don't really see him in the midfield either. Poor OLD Talley.

I think Talley might have actually found himself a good gig there. He could slide in next to Ream and really move up a little more as Ream plays a sweeper type role.

I dont get why DC did that move...

All the teams like DC and Houston who have no chance at the playoffs are trading for youth (Clark for Mullan, Talley for draft pick). They are trying to start the rebuild process now.

Spot on. Although I'm not sure why they are cutting dead weight now with the expansion draft looming. They may wish they still had Talley to kick around at that point.

Ha ha. Check out the last point on this blog post.

Of the 4 MLS players who have played for 6 teams, 3 of them played for RSL.

Because on the flip side teams like NY and Crapids who have a chance at the post season want veterans to help them make the push.

Why wait to have him taken in the expansion draft for nothing when you can get a second round pick for him now? If DC doesn't want him, they may as well get some kickback. Waiting til the expansion draft does nothing to help their rebuilding.

because DC has 11 other players worth protecting?
I get that they wanted something and are rebuilding... it just was a weird move to me.

I think he is an asst coach for Crew or Sounders now.

  22. Matias Cordoba is hoping to break into the starting line-up of Club Atletico San Martin de Tucuman. Article in Spanish.

Sturgis scored on a PK for Seattle against the Crew.
