Agreed. This lineup is capable of playing solidly without RvP and have Cesc as super-sub.

From ArsenalDotCom twitter feed: "Injury news: Vermaelen out of Bolton game. Wenger says Squillaci will play."

nasri is available. wilshere is a left footer, and rosicky is a preferred left footer. makes sense to play nasri if he is genuinely ready to play, although i suspect he won't be quite fit enough.

Yeah, I'm glad this one's at home though. Traveling after an interlull has really hosed us in the past.

Well I will be curious to see how the new defense looks, hopefully the offense dominates to put the pressure off of the defense. A shutout sure will put the confidence in them.

I don't even care how we look so long as we bag 3 points and 0 injuries.

mid week game so guess it makes some sense to rest the French internationals who played twice (all 180 min if I'm not mistaken)

Looks like a solid starting line up.
Don't know why...but I have a feeling that Gibbs is gonna shine today.

Interesting squad: JFW starts over Denilson and Diaby.

Even more interesting: No Sagna and Clichy.

France got delayed in the Faroe Island and didnt flu out until yesterday. Arshavin is the only player in the line-up that played 90mins during the week. Arsene has obviously been influenced by player fatigue/international break.

I'm guessing that our french nats are out as they played (iirc) all 180 minutes during the interlulz. The lineup reads like a 4-5-1 to me... (not that it's a bad thing, we'll still show up with our usual boatload of chances).

I'll go for 2-0. goals from Rosicky and Arshavin (Cesc and Chamakh with the assists)
