Israel's first official game under Fernandez is tomorrow. This is his chance to truly show what he is capable of bringing to our National Team. Re: 09/02/10: Israel vs. Malta (Euro 2012 Qualifier) Live: http://www.iraqgoals.tv/ch3.html Halftime: 1:1 Omg, nothing has changed. Passing lackluster and often inaccurate. After they got one somewhat soft goal, they completely relaxed and Malta scored a goal. Team looks out of sync on many plays. Few bright spots down the wings, but everything else is in shambles.
Re: 09/02/10: Israel vs. Malta (Euro 2012 Qualifier) Damn I agree. WTF. This should be a goal differential game for us to use later. Why aren't we attacking? Is it so good to have possession at midfield. WTF?! http://atdhe.net/23438/watch-israel-vs-malta
Re: 09/02/10: Israel vs. Malta (Euro 2012 Qualifier) What a disgrace, what is Fernandez thinking? The only difference between what he is doing and Kashtan is Kashtan actually picked the best players for his squad. The nonsense with picking guys who are young and on the bench at Israeli clubs to play international matches is suicide. If they're playing like this against the mighty malta what will happen in Georgia next week? This campaign might be over before it ever started.
Re: 09/02/10: Israel vs. Malta (Euro 2012 Qualifier) 1-1 at HT?? wtf?? Whatever... the Swiss lost to Luxembourg and still qualified for the WC... Although ther'es no excuse for even allowing Malta to score...
Re: 09/02/10: Israel vs. Malta (Euro 2012 Qualifier) 3:1 Now with Benayoun the hero again. The team is quite talented, and displays skill, but lacks team-work. Lots of missed connections on the passes. Defense looks lost even when tested by only 1 or 2 players. Need to get more organized before the next game quickly!
Re: 09/02/10: Israel vs. Malta (Euro 2012 Qualifier) In the end, a 3:1 win is good. A win is a win. It was good to start against a team like this so Israel can use it as a pseudo-training match and try things out. Will be interesting to see changes next game. I want Yoav Ziv to start on Defense. And I wish there was more out of Ben Sahar. Is it just me or he used to be more energetic? I think it might be a confidence issue.
Re: 09/02/10: Israel vs. Malta (Euro 2012 Qualifier) if ur talking about Dani Bondarv he was actually one of the best players on the field....and who do u want..? Klemi "the crap" Saban?
Re: 09/02/10: Israel vs. Malta (Euro 2012 Qualifier) At least Yossi Benayoun would be the leading scorer for qualifying in the near future.
Re: 09/02/10: Israel vs. Malta (Euro 2012 Qualifier) Happy Gil is playing, unhappy some crappy ones are instead of stronger talents are not. Keep an eye on Greece and Croatia playing there games tomorrow. One is playing Latvia and I hope Latvia causes problems in there game.
Re: 09/02/10: Israel vs. Malta (Euro 2012 Qualifier) f ur talking about Dani Bondarv he was actually one of the best players on the field....and who do u want..? Klemi "the crap" Saban? Yes he may have been but it was against Malta but Georgia just drew with Greece and has some international quality players...Playing a young kid who doesn't even start for his club is not a good idea...I mean we're talking about Hapoel Tel Aviv...not Barcelona...if he couldn't start for a quality European team I would say so what...the team is just that good but HTV. If fernandez goes with the same defense he will learn a difficult lesson in Tbilisi. Malta didnt score for 3 yrs until it met Israel, 3-0 or more was the only respectable outcome, allowing them a goal at home is shameful.
