Much obliged. It always means more if we can win it from the defending champ.

Any thoughts on any supporters coming down from ohio to watch us win back to back Open Cup titles?
Having away fans always makes for a more fun atmosphere.

How would we come down from Ohio to Seattle?

Rotate map 90 degrees. Use new map to drive/fly there?

You could get there by flying mostly south, by southwest. This would increase flight times considerably however.

I thought of that, but crossing the Antarctic AND the Arctic on the same trip would be the suck.

Then again, that would make you a hemisphere-ist.

I guess technically, every place in Ohio is at a higher elevation than Seattle (or at least where Qwest is).

    Only works if rotated CCW.

I'm waiting for NWCM to say "It took Columbus fans 34 hours to make it to Seattle, less than that if they flew".

I live in a world where I can go clockwise or counterclockwise. For the engineers, go with a 270 degree rotation.

And heading down to Antartica won't work because you still have to come up the other side.

    What?

270 CCW will put you exactly where 90 CW gets you.

Nuh uh. Once you go off the bottom, you start over at the top.

If you go 270 CW, you'll end at the same place you told me I ended, 90 CCW. If your world is only able to look at things in a CW fashion, then flip the map 270 CW. I prefer shortcuts and will continue to rotate 90 CCW.

I never said you HAD to go CW. Just pointing out that a 90 degree rotation would only be sufficient only if it was CCW. You can't do any old 90 degree rotation and expect it to work. Sheesh.

My bad. Some engineers always go 90, 180, and 270 CW. They don't use CCW. That's what i thought you were saying.

Must be civil engineers. Real engineers don't limit themselves like that.

This thread has taken a constructive turn to the right. Or the left? It also appears I'll be farther away from the game then you folks from Columbus who can't make it. I'll be stuck in some backwater Maryland town for work on the day of the game :(

Crew supporters move in mysterious ways. Sometimes, we'll come in at an angle. Other times, we can hover, and swoop. Sometimes, we can even come in from beneath, like a worm, or mole. It's our call how we choose to maneuver.
