Yes its midnight CET so your correct it would be 6pm ET.

I hope this works out! Come on Aris and Fulham! Hopefully second time is a charm!

That's what Marca says, but ESPN/soccernet (focused on the UK) is acting as if it just ended -- could it be league dependent?

Well the deadline ended 15 minutes ago. But the player may have already signed, the announcement can be made anytime.

SoccerNet told me the deadline in England was 6 PM BST, while the European deadline was 2300 BST. Then again, Kalamaria just answered my question.

According to this site Eddie agreed with Aris and he will be our last transfer. Lets wait though for some announcement.

This one of those times where it's good to be the guy who doesn't have to know the minute it happens. Fine to read about it tomorrow after the facts have sorted themselves out.

But good luck to all those out there who are wired differently!

EJ might be back at Aris. It's not completely sure and I don't know how good the source is. The transfer window just closed. More info in a bit...

    EDIT: Kalamaria was faster :)

I really wish he could have gone to QPR... IMO the Greek leagues are a minor step up from the MLS

We can only sign free agents now. And I know Fulham is not going to let him go for free.

It seems that we agreed with Fulham and Johnson, but his manager screwed it up...

Why didn't Fulham let him go if they didn't want him? It seems odd that they didn't let him go, it might mean that Fulham's not bringing in any forwards

Well, they did bring in a highly touted 19 year old F from Liverpool today (Lauri Dalla Valle).

No, we agreed with Fulham and he was coming on loan, but his manager demanded more money and that's when the negotiations fell through.

Apparently, the Greek soccer federation extended the transfer deadline untill 24:00 greek time. Can't see anything happening though.

Does his Manager mean his agent or the team Manager?

Re: Eddie Johnson back at Fulham

That's odd, because doesn't a loan still pay out on the contract that he is signed for with the loaning team? It's just a matter of how much is paid by the loaning team and the team getting the loaned player.

How can an agent squash a loan deal because of money? I am really confused now.

Agents get paid too for every transfer/loan deal.
