Oh piss the hell off. You're taking a video from the fourth game in our history. An away game. And you're saying we don't sing for 90 minutes? I've yet to hear a lull in songs/chants for more than a few seconds at any home games. And I help lead my section, so I think I have a tad bit more authority on the matter than you.
On the question of away support. My seats at Qwest are a couple isles over from where they put the away supporters. So far this year Philadelphia has had the largest, most vocal, and al around most impressive away support in our stadium, and SOB certainly deserve some credit for that. Granted, it was their teams very first game, and a big event they planned for a while, but still they brought it and made some real noise for their side. Some other teams have shown up well too, but none this year quite like Philly did--from where I was sitting anyway.
Not to mention that video is extremely selective... i was at that game and the SOBs were very loud, but obviously ESC wouldn't hear us behind the opposite goal in the upper level that great over their own chants, the same reason we couldn't hear them in their own stadium, doesnt mean they weren't making noise.... plus a lot of casual supporters that made the trip are mixed in with the SOBs in that video as well.
Leaving the Sounders FC off of the list entirely is laughable and indicates that this opinion is void of everything but ignorance.
It is laughable. We can debate all day who's supporters have the best songs, most clever flags and banners, yada yada yada. Seattle has by far the most season ticket holders and attendance. We can argue opinions, but we can't argue facts.
I think that SoB video was taken at the open cup match too. Come to PPL when we tear NY a new one and you'll see what our supporters are about. 90 plus minutes, non stop.
