it sure doesn't make me want to go back to Robertson. Yeah, I want to show my support, I admire the player's courage and hard work, but I hate losing like this. I am sure the players are even MORE frustrated than we are.

Hopefully, i'll feel better by the time the next home game comes. Today, I'm signing off. No more dynamo.

Need more alcohol tonight. See y'all!

I blame Max Bretos-he's not even still at FSC but I am blaming the whole season on him anyway.

Colonoscopy was a breeze... slept right through it.
The 'solution' I drank the night before was better than this performance!
And I'll never forget that sewer water for the rest of my life.

Seriously? Going into tonight's match, Houston was 1-5-4 (W-L-T) in their last 10 MLS matches, since the beginning of June. Dallas was 7-0-3 in their last 10 MLS matches. And you're trying to say that the two teams' records are similar?

Man, I am glad I support Chelsea. At least one of my teams will be on top of the table when I crawl into bed tonight!

There are going to be a lot of no-shows the last few games if this keeps up. Folks will make the choice to watch college football at home vs. going out to Robertson

Lack.....of.......talent ....... and speed. I mean, the goals basically consisted of them outrunning us down the field. This was yet another game basically decided by who we rostered in the back in March, since Dom is unwilling to further experiment. The coaching consisted of Dom waving the white flag by subbing in two defenders. And Okulaja did us no favor by having two players kicking each other on the ground get different color cards (I mean, I could understand it if he missed Mastro and saw the retaliation, but Mastro only could get the card for the kick....?).

A lot of blame on Palmer, I see, but G was 2', red was 10'. Not particularly smart but we looked pretty well the same shabby lot before and after.

Broken record......can we try playing the best 11? People who can play defense? Some athletes? I hope he's either evaluating the vets or dogging for the draft, because if he really believes this is how to run the team he deserves a pink slip.

It took all of 23 minutes to show the Dynamo is NOT a playoff team. It's over. Fuggedaboutit. HD might objectively be the 3rd worst team in MLS. Time and age have caught up.:(

Any team with some sort of speed kills our defense.

Palmer's ejection was plain stupid. I thought Palmer was a player to keep in '11... honestly that play gave me doubts. You don't lose you effing head in the TENTH minute.

Overall, weak defense, no quality ball possession... nothing. I didn't recognize that team wearing orange.

I frankly turned the TV off at halftime. I had to go out anyway... it might have been the worst display I've ever seen by the Dynamo.

I do start to wonder if Kinnear has any idea what to do with this team.

Oh well, I might feel better later on but tonight...

When will the majority of fans realize this has been a broken record all year? One win and so many thought Houston was back. Sorry, not this year. Expecting a "run" from this team is not realistic. What is realistic is to get in the mindset of next year and re-tooling.

This franchise should NEVER ever be in this situation again. Not making the playoffs is not an option. Very disappointing year obviously.

Palmer will be the scapegoat. Yes, he made a huge mistake, but he is hardly the reason why our season sucks, and why we lost 3-0. He's probably simply displaying our player's frustration with the current season.

Sadly, Palmer may be one of the few sort-of-good things that happened to us this year.

Let's get used to losing. We may get another win, another tie, it will give us hope, but this team won't make the playoffs and won't be a winning team. And we may still have a bad team in 2011. So get used to losing :(

    Nevertheless... Go, Dynamo!

When Colorado comes to town next year, I would love for the Dynamo to do a Pablo Red night and give away these posters to display all over the stadium:

Very frustrating year. Dom will be earning his paycheck the next year to try to get this franchise out of the abyss.

Ja, ja. I forgot about this picture. How much would it take to make a 4' by 6' enlargement and put behind their bench? Can we get House of Pies to sponsor it? Heck, why don't you take contributions? I'd gladly contribute $20 to see this behind their bench!

This game should underline that the defense needs to be fixed. They'd basically get the ball to the wings, run by them, then cross to forwards we couldn't keep up with.

Also, the speed and quality have picked up enough that Championship/Scotland style hoofball may be tactically untenable, especially if we move to a home stadium with different dimensions. I thought part of the issue was simply that Colorado had a bigger pitch and we had a slower team.

The first game we played there when it opened we outplayed Colorado on that pitch, it made me wish for a big field like theirs. Times have changed.

And what do you use as your "objective" criteria? I can think of plenty of teams worse than us:

    DC
    PHI
    NER
    CUSA

    Those guys are terrible.

CHI isn't much better than us either.

Frustration clouds judgement and leads to some exaggeration, I guess, Naranja.

Although Philly has an excuse for being expansion. So them aside, bottom 5 in the league.

Still, yesterday's debacle was just plain brutal. The way the Dynamo played yesterday, any USL/NASL team could beat them.

Well, I hope it's a young, rejuvenated team at least. That would mean rebuilding and getting ready a competitive roster for 2012.

It's time now we see guys like Navas-Cobo and Appiah get plenty of minutes. This team needs to know ASAP what they could have in either.

i'm catching up with my reading, but i just want to say that i strongly disagree with this statement. :D

man, i've been racking my brain trying to figure this out all year. remember folks, we've lost a lot of winnable points. it's not like we're a terrible, terrible team like that Chivas USA team of 2005:

    18 total points (4W-22L-6T)with a -36 GD.

how about a NPSL team? :D

folks, we lost to another team fighting for their playoff seeding at home. did we expect them to lay down?

I've heard from a few sources who work security but know the game really well that Francisco has looked really out of his depth during training and that he is unlikely to see playing time at all unless he develops a great amount in the next year. Pretty sure this was echoed by Dom at some point as well when a fan was yelling at him to put Francisco in. The guy is a good U-20, but even at that level, he is very much 2nd choice in Rongen's squad...not sure how big an impact he can make in MLS yet.

    My thoughts:

Mastroeni should have seen red with Palmer.

First 30 minutes were as bad as I've ever seen this team play. Last 60 was a lot better but we can't overcome that deficit. Mullan and Cruz were putting in an effort even a man down and down three goals. At this point in the season, that's the #1 thing I care about.

We're not the worst team in the league, but we're not making the playoffs. Our midseason slump killed us. I don't think we can overcome our record at this point.
