I also thought Barrera didnt do so well today. He kept passing the ball back most of the times he got it. He only tried taking the defenders like twice and on one he lost it easily. I was expecting him to play con mas huevos and make Evra his bitch again. He was ok, but I have high expectations from some of our players.

For me Pablo did alright, but nothing special like we know him to considering the time he was on the field which started when West Ham was down 0-2. Given that he didn't come out very offensive I imagine Grant told him to put in some defensive responsibilities at the back and try not to lose the ball in a comprimising spot, hence why he chose to distribute the ball to his teammates rather than take on any ManU defender and make it 3-0. For a second I thought it was Pablo that got caught napping and let Barbatov make it 3-0 but it was Spector. He tried to go 1v1 a few times at the edge of the 18 yard box and did alright 2 times, but after it became 3-0 he got the ball stolen looked like he rethought it twice before trying to go more times.

There were other players today other than Barrera that didn't help matters by poor passing or selfish play. Carlton was trying to do way too much by himself and Parker when he wasn't slipping, sliding and tripping all over the field he was sending the ball over to the other team most of the time aside from the near miss he had towards the end of the game didn't impress, quality player just not today.

It was hard watching West Ham try and build up a play they just kept loosing it in the mid and the ball would go no where. They had trouble with what looked like easy passes.

Barrera was the only one who looked comfortable on the ball.

Barrera was doing what he was asked to do, it was obvious . The coaches in England respect the big 4 more then they should.

He looked to have made good runs but West Ham was beaten before they even took the field. They came in trying not to lose.

yeah what game did most people watch, he made a bunch of runs when he got the ball. I didn't see him pass the ball back at all.

There is a difference between passing the ball back to a defender to aliviate pressure and switch the point of attack and passing the ball back when you have space in front of you to exploit.

Any time Barrera had a few feet of space in front of him he drove towards the opposing goal.

WH was already down by 2 when he came on and minutes later Man U scored the third. Naturally WH didn't want to walk out of Old Trafford with more goals in their bag so they started to pack it in.

Shocked that Barerra did not see any minutes today. They needed direct offense and that is exactly what Barerra gives you.

That coach is horrible. How do you not play your best player. Only two players who haven't been crap are barrera and parker. Man can cole play any worse.

    You're shocked? really?

Barrera played against Ecuador and Colombia then flew back to London and maybe had one training session prior to the game against Chelsea.
