Didn't get to watch the game at the stadium but caught it on the tube. Nery looks out of shape but that is to be expected. Hopefully he comes around. I don't understand why so many people want to see him fail. His success will do nothing but good in the long run.
Yeah hes listed at 5'7 Here's mine P.S. My brother is a goalie, so that's why he has the Ochoa thing going on lol
i could of last year when i was going to cancun from gdl, the team Santos was waiting in the same lobby as my wife and i were. I saw vouso, aspe, oswaldo, etc but i didnt have the balls to bug them
i think i would have more balls to go up to one of our mexican soccer players than one of my nba or nfl favs
Pavel Pardo was behind me in line for a ride at Disneyland recently. It took me all 40 minutes of the line +ride to finally say something to him. Nice guy.
Fitness still an issue for Fire DP Castillo Despite lofty expectations, Mexican star says he's out of shape http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/article/fitness-still-issue-fire-dp-castillo
Damn. He does look pudgy in the mid sedction though... he probably needs to drop 10 lbs, and gain fitness back.
Reading the comments, looks like the Chicago NNR are off the sack. Still can't stand reading lame stereotypes being thrown around. That's why this sucks. I used to be able to avoid most MLS stuff on BigSoccer. I guess I could unsub?
Nery has hit a new low...can't even make it to the bench in an MLS team...but he would've been ok for the WC Come on Nery...get your shit together damn
Now Nery doesnt have his shit together These are the consequences of him not getting any playing time in the past year. Nery will eventually regain form, but its going to take the rest of the season.
Exactly. This isn't playstation. Nery hasn't played in over a year, he's going to need quite a bit of time to regain his confidence, fitness and match rhythm. This is probably why the loan was structured to cover the rest of this season and next season as well. Chicago knew his condition when they got him on loan. They're aware that he will need time.
January 2012 http://www.transfermarkt.co.uk/en/nery-castillo/transfers/spieler_9711.html I believe his contract ends June 2012, but not 100% sure. So he should be with the FIRE for this season and the 2011 Season.
Nery hasn't had his shit together for the last three years, but Im not gonna sit here and just type how i wish he stays in that situation forever. Nery's situation just shows how a few friendly games were not gonna have him ready for the WC like all of his fans thought. I think all of the NNR have realized that.
Nery needs to go on a protein diet and go mountain biking + swimming. Aerobically he's way out of it. He should have been training during his inactivity.
