Normally, I go out for maybe 15 mins. and juggle/practice moves in the street. I'm still working on that Around The World thing. Looks really cool...

I gave up on juggling and started using practicing things that are more useful in a game, like shooting, moves, and tricks. Once you start juggling about 100 then try variations. Such as foot stall then holy grail to another foot stall, basically everything at nikefootball.com in the showdown.

    1.Yes
    2. 440
    3. Practice many times
    4. WTF, mate?

Foot stalls are easy, just practice. But they are pretty pointless, too.

Try juggling a properly inflated volleyball. If it's hard like a rick it will kick off your foot like crazy and makes the challenge a bit tastier.

    Yes absolutely

If you think you're good enough for Chrome Vapors...you better start juggling more than that, my friend. Just being honest...

man, I'd have to agree that juggling is necessary. If I focused on just doing the kick-up portion of it, i'd probably reach well over 500. But the fact is that I don't. I focus on experimenting with new tricks and then putting them together in the juggles. Nikefootball.com has been great to me in terms of that. I think putting together combinations in you juggling is much more important than going for records of 1000.

I don't know the terms that you use for tricks, but isn't a holy grail when you (preferably from a foot stall) raise your foot over and around the ball and then re-position? Like how Mia Hamm does the computer enhanced version in that new Doritos commercial? That trick, Neck stalls, rainbow kickups and others are pretty easy now for me.

(FYI) I only started playing soccer seriously at 16, i'm 18 now. (more FYI) World Class striker for Deportivo La Coruna, Diego Tristan, only starting playing football at the age of 17.

KrystianR9, keep up the good work!!!

I am ridiculously awful at 'keepie uppy'. I never practise it though. I just think it's really pointless.

    tread about juggling....

I am so good at juggling if i use all body parts because i am good at saving it but i don't yet have a perfect touch. (Record at 1020) I can probably beat that if i went outside and tried tomorrow. I can also do a lot of tricks the one thing I want to learn how to do is juggle on my head (record 25) and get a bit better with my left (record 100). Do you know of some things to think about when you are learning to juggle on your head? I am so inconsistent with it sometimes i get one sometime i get 20. Do you guys have some things to think about to keep your or where to look on the ball or some tip for juggling with your head?

damn you actually count to those numbers? You must totally bore yourself. Most times I stop counting after 100 unless I really want to accomplish something. Like i've said before, putting together combinations value much higher. Quality over quantity my son. LOL. Great record but I still don't understand how you can count to that number and not get extremely bored.

    tread about juggling....

Concentration. I too experiment with all the tricks that you stated that you can do and can do them. I just wanted to get 1000 to prove I could do it to myself. Now, I would like to prove the same with each body part so that I can get good sequences going. I need to add my head into the mix though it is inconsistent!

Yes I usually did that too until a week ago when I set my mind to getting over 500. My record before that was 440. The hardest thing about getting that high is just concentrating, because it's so boring your thoughts wander and you screw up.

    Record 100 even.

And to get consistent with header's u have to keep some air between the ball and ur head because if it lands and like stop's bouncing on ur head. Then it is really hard to get started again otherwize watch the ball and GL.

    Re: tread about juggling....

Just because you can't juggle the ball doesn't mean you're a bad player. Juggling is just something to do when you've got a ball, apple, orange, basketball anything round usually. I normally only do it in the street when i'm waiting for me mates to come out n just nicked a ball from they yard.

    That's cold, man...

I've been playing for 2 and a half years now and I still cant juggle for peanuts. Does that make me a bad player? No, I dont think so. I agree that my ball control is terrible but that doesnt stop me from taking sweet penalties as well as one of the best defenders in my team(and best tackles too :p).

I just juggle nowadays for fun when im bored kicking around. When I practice at my yard, I practice my freekicks and stuff and trying to get a 'feel' of the ball more and more everyday. Do I still juggle a lot? No.

I am agreed with bad juggler does not mean a bad player, however good juggler usually is a "better" player(not a good player). I usually juggle to see how much I can concentrate and get feel of a ball at beginning of practice.
For me, these leads to better passing and trapping = better player.
I've actually started juggling with hackey sack/foot bag and move on to a mini-ball. Boy, after that when you juggle a size 5 ball, it was a piece of cake.
