Man, and all of them except Columbus were on the road! :p I tease. But seriously I was at the 08 match at reliant. Was probably 80-20% in favor of Mexico as far as the crowd was concerned. When we scored the stadium was eerily quiet.

Sigh dude, what game did you watch. By halftime the US was completely gassed and once again couldnt handle the altitude. Sure, the morons will think their team dominated because they're "better"..but anyone who watched could see by halftime the US was out of gas and gasping for air because of the altitude.

After the player being "blindsided" was trying to drag an injured player off the ground?

If you think Benny was in the wrong they're you're just delusional. As a Mexico fan, you cannot talk about sportsmanship or "retaliation".

Both sides actually have arguments on this because the U.S. can say "well all the Mexicans bought the tickets and it was basically an away game for us!!"

The Mexicans' reply is of course "Why the hell can't you get gringos to go to your own games, that's how much you guys suck, jajajajaja!"

    And over and over again.

I say the U.S. starts playing Mexico in Jamaica.

For those saying the Yellows were unwarranted....

    Update | 27th Minute, U.S. Yellow Card
Oguchi Onyewu issued a caution for an intentional hand ball at midfield.
Update | 29th Minute, U.S. Yellow Card Jay DeMerit is issued a caution for a dangerous tackle on Giovani Dos Santos to the right side of the U.S. penalty box. Cuauhtemoc Blanco’s dangerous shot was directed away from the U.S. goal. Both U.S. centerbacks are carrying a yellow card.
Update | 46th Minute, U.S. Yellow Card An ill-advised tackle earns Carlos Bocanegra a yellow card just before half time. Three out of four of the American defenders are now carrying a yellow card for the second half. Steve Cherundolo is the only defender who remains unpunished.

And those saying the U.S dominated

The Americans’ inability to clear the ball from their own end, and their failure to maintain possession for spells longer than a few dozen seconds at a time, proved fatal. Mexico, who held the ball for the majority of the game, was stymied by the U.S. defense, led by Oguchi Onyewu, until the 82nd minute. But the relentless pressure from Mexico, who showed a long-missing confidence, earned El Tri the full three points at home.

dude, your ridiculous. When one of are own players is down with an injury, and 3 Mexico players try pulling him up, even though he keeps pulling back and saying he doesn't want to get up, and your calling the guy a moron for protecting his teammates back. Of course he is going to push the Mexico players. What would you expect.

Just needed a little edit. Do I really need to post all the videos of the CLASS that some Mexico fans have at games.

To be fair, the USA players were trying to waste time because they were tired, playing at 3pm at altitude is no joke. That is why the Mexico player was trying to pull him up (the score was 1-1), still no excuse to choke some body, but they are concacaf refs, I am sure the USA has gotten away with some calls in our home games.

I think must Costa Ricans can find bad call on the last game our countries played against each other.

Concacaf refs always benefit the home team, is just the way things are.

As far as Mexican fans being "classless" in Azteca...look,it was rivalry match in Latin America,of course it's going to be a little out of hand. What exactly did you expect? A golf crowd? (also, many of them being drunk added to it I'm sure) All you can do is try to embrace the atmosphere and have fun with it...and don't make all USA fans look like uptight wieners. Being showered in beer (well, maybe not always beer  ) isn't the worst thing that can happen to you. Worse things (much worse) happen in countries like Turkey and Serbia where they have psychotic hooligans.

And no I'm not defending el tri,of course I still hate the mf'ers. ;)

U.S fans complaining about a rough crowd. Soccer crowds around the world are always rough; some people even get killed. So if you don't want to deal with it, go watch tennis or something.
