This one should be closer than you think.

After all, United only has 11 more losses than Dallas.

Will we see Perkins or Hamid tomorrow?
Overall, I thought Hamid was pretty solid last game. I don't recall any major errors. The D looked pretty well organized in front of him.

I thought we saw the beginning of some chemistry between Hernandez- Boskovic- Najar. After one more week of practice and playing at home, hopefully we'll see more of this.

We desperately need some variety in our attack. Burch should have better game fitness, so maybe we'll see a few more runs and quality passes out of him.

Sounds like Pontius may be out. If this is the case, I'd like to see Allsopp get another chance. I say this because, sadly he is probably the closest thing we have to a true goal scorer.

I really hope Jemal Johnson is the real deal and he earns a contract. I think he at least would bring speed. This may help stretch defenses, creating space for others at minimum. Maybe he'll be our Findley? He just needs to be better than Khumalo. i felt that Khumalo made good runs down the wings, but he was either easily muscled off the ball or he sent in poor crosses. He also rarely created chances for himself. Maybe this guy will be an upgrade. i guess the $$ will also be a factor.

    some random thoughts. Vamos.

So when do we start chanting for Jaime? After we're down a couple of goals or wait until the 2nd half?

i'd love to see Jaime come in at 65minute and combine with boskovic-najar-hernandez. maybe he could come on for quaranta or for Allsopp/Pontius.

My concern is that there would be even less of a defensive presence with Jaime in the line up.

Even though last week's game was against the Revs (who are almost as pathetic a we are), it was encouraging that we didn't give up too many scoring chances playing with king at d-mid and Boskovic as a withdrawn mid ( he likes to attack more than defend) in front of the back four. If we can get away with this on a regular basis, i think Jaime could see more time.

I imagine he will, given that Wallace is still out and Burch can barely go 75 minutes.

My concern is that Jaime moves like an old man and has trouble maintaining possession. His last few appearances haven't reflected well on the player he once was.

I am now officially referring to the rest of the games as 2011 preseason games. I am hopeful that we can win but not worried about a loss because after all it is just a preseason game.

    Allowed? :D

All the ticket booths will be open for business. The Barra and the SE are right in front of you when you walk thru the tunnel from the tailgate.
