You've really gone through the entire season's games on the BBC predictor? That's some dedication and it deserves at least one reply.

At this stage I'd say Chelsea will finish higher than 4th, most likely top 2 and 3rd at the very worst. If I had to name the champions right now, I'd pick them. I can't see Liverpool finishing above them at all and would be tempted to move them down 2-3 places.

I think Manchester City have an excellent chance of qualifying for the Champions League this time but they're difficult to predict. The other big differences I'd have is moving Newcastle down a few spots and Birmingham up a few. Lots of time for all this to change as teams buy and sell players, of course.

I noticed you also have the champs down for quite a low points-total. Do you see the trend of teams getting closer together in terms of ability continuing?

Quick guess at the top few:
    Chelsea
    Manchester United
    Manchester City
    Arsenal
    Spurs
    Liverpool
    Everton
    Villa

I think we can wait with the predictions until we have an idea what the squads will look like..

How in the world do you have Chelsea on 71 points? Chelsea have had 80+ points every season for over 5 years, even the 2002 team nearly amassed that many.

Here is how I have last season's teams ranked for the start of this season. I find it interesting that like William's predictions I also put Liverpool back in the top 4.
