What a pathetic game. Barca looked completely uninterested while the K-Leaguers were watching out for themselves so that nobody would get injured for the weekends league matches.

I would much rather see the usual East vs West / North vs South K-League all star game. Come to think of it, Koreans vs Foreigners would be an interesting match as well. Anything but inviting some cash-hungry teams who are only here for the paycheck.

It's all part of the Spanish charm offensive, doncha know? La Liga and Serie A are in a rush to disassociate themselves with their respective lower leagues and break the Premiership's dominance in the "lucrative Asian market."

Until the whole world operates on the same footballing calendar (extremely unlikely) or European clubs start looking at Asian and North American fans as something other than wallets with legs (even less likely), these sad money grabs masquerading as tours will continue.

The real money is in the US market. Manchester United vs. Kansas City Wizards - 52K attendance for example

You know, we all should be grateful to be born as Koreans south of the boarder. Where even just practices are allowed because we value freedom to do whatever you want

Because if I had it my way, those ppl up there will be taken to hard labor 14 hrs a day just like that north Korean coach.

If it was on the weekend, it would have been a packed house.

from what i've heard, barcelona did do a good job of not getting people excited about their visit.

and i like it that it wasn't full. if these european teams want to build their brand in korea, they can't half ass it and expect people to pack the house.
