    hes here

Veloso is gone, but welcome to Zap

he looks like a good DM and a good free kick taker, i think its a good pick up for us

    Mendes/Zapater to play as DM
Maniche / Andre Santos as CMS.

Too bad his attitude sucks. He said he didn't want to play in Portugal. Why the change in mind?

Didn't an Italian poster refute this? Just wondering what the source was for him saying he didn't want to play in Portugal. He's still young, hope he proves useful throughout the season.

Yeah, he never made any public statement. This was just a rumour from the press...unlike Veloso.

Again Bettencourt f's up. WTF are they thing with this deal?
You sell a future star, for a mid quality player. Seriously SCP directors are burying this club.

MV didn't want to be here any more. It happens, he thought he should be in one of the big leagues, with one of the big teams. I think we had to move him, he would have been a cancer in the room. Remember this team doesn't keep these players, we make super stars, we just can't keep them, it's the reality of the situation, we need to make money on the player sales.

Veloso and Moutinho led the Sporting midfield last year, and Sporting had one of their worst years in recent memory. How good can these guys be? Veloso had a lot of good moments last year, but it didn't translate into many victories. I hope Veloso and Moutinho go on to have great careers, but my gut tells me Sporting won't miss them much.

I know he had to move, but for another DM? The Academia has tons of prospects at that position look at Andre.
My bone is deal for a tall forward with some age, but a pure striker or a prospect number 10.
From the money on the transfer, we only pocketed about 8 mil, not enough IMO.

    yeah, mattteo cleared that up.
I agree, let's see how he does before we pass judgment . I wouldn't expect a striker in a player exchange anyway, that's prime bargaining power. I also got my hopes that Saleiro will shine this season in that position.
