I'd say predator narrower than laser is no longer true. The most recent laser might actually be narrower than the vapor VI sadly.

yeah i loved the touch and stuff of the tunits but the fact that the soleplate is a metal plate, kind of bothers me. and running on metal plates all game starts to tenderize your feet

Really? I've switched from vapors to adizeros now. Vapors just appear stupid now, and the superfly are just too expensive for what they are.

Yah, especially after wearing my leather adizeros for the first time in the game. Nike needs to go back to basics. Simplify everything, we don't need carbon fiber.

Yea man that's pretty sad. Tunits were the worst boots i've ever had. They weren't comfy, they weren't light, they didn't have good touch. They had nothing to offer except for a variety of colors. Its the only reason i got them. Cos they had nice uppers. But the studs would fall out. Or they'd get stripped.
    Waste of money.

If you think ur tunits are the best pair you've worn then try on some adipures. Your head will explode

I want to get a pair of adipure III's. How much do they stretch? Should I go .5 down?

Yeah, I've got nothing. Judging by the comments, it seems that I've had a better experience than most with Tunit's. Maybe just lucky. I have also worn Predators, which have served me well.

yes i would definitely go half a size down. That way they mold to your feet.

Honestly i could have easily gone a full size down. I like a snug fit. And the leather will stretch

    Brian,
if the Tunits work for you, stick with them. Might be a good time stock up on components though. Everybody has different feet and while Tunits didn't fit me well, I see people playing with them regularly, so they do have their fans.
There are some people on here who seem to have a problem thinking for themselves. I mean, Nike could come out with some invisible, weightless boots and they would pay $400 for them just b/c there was a cool commercial. Someone probably told them Tunits sucks, so instead of actually finding out for themselves, they simply parrot someone else's opinion.

50.6 were the MOST uncomfortable boots ever. I had to sell them, after just kicking a ball around with a friend, my soles of my feet would cramp up it was soooo stiff!! YUCK!

I had a pair of tunits so i can say whatever the fack i want about them. They were horrible boots and a waste of money. The key was made of cheap plastic, it broke on people. You had to keep replacing the studs cos they would fall out..

And i believe their premium kit went for $524.99?

Oh yea tunits were a cheap boot alright:rolleyes:

Iv had two f50.7 two f50.8 and two f50i. And i find them really comfy and a good touch, iv used Predators ranging from mania and up till x, iv used vapors total 90s, adizeros, tried on adipures, and out off all those boots iv decided to stick with f50i and f50.7. I have had no issues with studs or the key, or comfort. Its been a great boot and will keep planning to use them for awhile. I even own two adizero , one leather and one synthetic and still wear f50.i and f50.7 or .8 over the, Once again that comes down to opinion. What is best for you may not be best for someone else. Go with what you want and try.

I never really liked tunits. I always think they are a good looking boot on other people, but they just dont suit my foot. They give me awful cramps in the arch of my foot and the insoles are SO uncomfortable imo.

I had 50.8s. Somedays I liked them, some days I hated them. It was really weird. Always liked the looks. F30.6 Indoors were THE best indoor I've ever had though. So easy to strike the ball. Sadly, mine are size 6.

i think most of us can agree that the tunits looked awesome, great idea by adidas...but the metal plate makes it really uncomfortable to some people. to other people that can put up with it, they are a great boot

i think tunits did work, just not for people like us, as the pro's where getting fixed plates leather uppers etc..

while we all got threaded studs

I had the .8's and in the adidas shop they fit nicely but soon as i played they gave me really bad cramping pains in my feet

my problem was when you played in a wet field, the water flooded in.

You need calm down and be less defensive. I was not trying to attack anyone.

You can say whatever you want regardless of if you owned the boots. I just love when someone posts "what boots should I get? Vapors or adipures?" and someone will respond "adipures are more comfortable then vapors", then several posts later it comes out that the person saying vapors are uncomfortable never wore a pair.

Tunits have their problems, but if someone likes them who am I to tell them they are wrong for liking them? Its one thing to politely suggest a different boot, its another thing to mock someone's choice of boots.

If you really want comfort though, and don't care about boot weight... you cna NEVER go wrong with copas. Its sad though, as time is going on, the less I see players wear copas anymore. :(
