He's ambidextrous. His goal at U-17 WC was left footed and he nearly scored in a friendly a few weeks ago on a left-footed rocket.

looks like our guys all had a good weekend...except for suk.

btw, stat, i think son's goal in u-17 wc was off his right foot. but you're right, he can hit a rocket from either side. the majority of shots i've seen have come from his left.

Good call. All three goals were right footed goals but he's definitely ambidextrous. There was a German article not too long ago about him knocking in vicious goals in training with his left peg. I'll see if I can dig it up.

His style reminds me of Kaka.

I would say an attacking minded CM. I'm really hoping Cho Kwang Rae calls him up. If he decides on a 5 man midfield, Son will slot in perfectly playing behind PCY.

i heard its not considered gay in some european countries to walk around holding hands together? thats pretty cool tho of Ruud taking the kid under his wing. This kid is starting to look like the next Cha Bum Keun.

Son seems to be better than the likes of Yeom and Dong Gook (possibly) at the moment so no complaints from me about him being called up :D

I dont know if Ruud has a thing for Koreans but when PJS came to United, Ruud was one of the first to befriend him.

Didn't Ruud give an interview about how he was taking care of Son? Maybe Ji-sung dropped him a call and asked him to look after the Korean dude on the team LOL

yeah its still too early but i dont think its a bad comparison to make when it comes to his potential. He is plenty fast and strong from the few times ive seen him. and he has a deadly shot just like Cha and he is very skillful. he also has the advantage of starting out in europe at 18 while Cha started at 25.

i'm ok compare Son's shot Cha's shot. but i dont see him runover guy like Bum or Duri. those guys is NFL runningbaks whos played soccer.

i'm real exited this kid, more than even Park Juyung. D's alway gota mark guy like Son even if he's wayoff box u cant let him drop boms on goalie, Son just been on feild is gona open it up for other guy.

Reminder that HSV will play Chelsea today (18:00 CET). Don't know if Son will start or whether streaming sites will pick up on this, though.
