Good for him to score...in a game otherwise was an okay performance. He still looks pretty lost out there most of times. I think Ki needs to be more aggressive. He seemed to became more lively once Cha was subbed in. Another solid performance by Cha!

Quickly get the ball then fire up the crowd! Love the goal celebration. Lets hope he gets more goals now.
Great goal for Ki, especially versus a team like Arsenal. Really hope that this can boost his confidence and maybe show the coach that Ki's talent lies in offense rather than defense.
Just got home in time to see Fox Soccer Ch news and Ki's goal. I guess I'll have to take back my comment in the Cha thread about Fortune not passing. Like most of you said... hopefully this helps boost his confidence.
KSY played a little better in the second half when he was given more attacking responsibilities but still he doesn't seem to be able to play the holding role. However, watching this game I feel like if Celtic's defense was to improve, KSY could immensely improve his game. Celtic's defense (LB and CB) has to improve so that Ki can play comfortably as a playmaker without so much defensive responsibility.
I'm having a hard time reconciling KSY's beyond questionable defensive ability and why Lennon keeps trotting him out there in the holding role. Good to see him get a goal even if his finish was only so-so.
He did shoot it with his left foot..... KSY wouldn't be so bad playing deep... its just he shouldn't be given so many responsibilities if so.... esp on defense. I could see him playing in the hole in the next match against Braga. They need to score a lot so they'll need more offensive presence.
If ManU get Ozil, then they will be a better team than last year (which isn't saying that much, considering they were a merely an above-average team with a superhero effort all year long by Wayne Rooney). Ozil will keep the very talented but old ManU attacking midfield fresh and deep. Chicharito will essentially replace Michael Owen, who didn't do anything for them except for his goal against City. I'm looking out for Arsenal though. It will likely be Cesc's last chance to win silverware as captain, so look for him to be more motivated than ever. They've got even more attacking depth with Vela and Chamoukh. And if they land Keisuke Honda, wow, that midfield is frightening.
Arse tends to get out of the gate quickly before the injuries slow them down. I've got the maximum (3) on my fantasy squad hoping to capitalize on a strong start.
I found Ki's home page so im going to post photos from there here because im bored. If you have any problems just write a letter and send it to my house in Australia
my god definitely a face to be a model or boy band group. meanwhile, Ki talked big when asked about tomorrow's return match against Braja http://soccernet.espn.go.com/preview?id=300904&league=UEFA.CHAMPIONS&cc=5901 i hope so. we all want to see our Train-combi (Ki-Cha) in this yr's champions league. and ill surely post a highlight clip on tube,.
I'd prefer if Ki not talk trash as a player struggling to find form / spot in starting 11, let alone established in the squad.
He may looked a bit lost in some direction but Id hardly say he's struggling. Those passes may look simple to you but his ball distribution is keeping that offense oiled as far as Im concerned. He is establishing himself in the front 11 believe it or not.
Most Celtic fans would agree. His turns and close control is what's helping Celtic with possession to make up for a shaky defense. However, I do agree with most here that he would make some daring passes.
I don't mind Ki makin a guarantee. Some of the complaints on here have been about his passive nature in recent pre season matches, as well as a sense of being lost or lackin confidence. So this attitude is refreshing. Now it's time to walk the talk tomorrow. On another note, would it be more accurate at this point to say that Ki for Crltic is more like a Michael Carrick than a Steven Gerrard? Other than getting on the score sheet a little more frequently I'm not as familiar with Gerrard's game as I don't watch Liverpool like I do Man Utd.
We can disagree on the quality of his play but its loud words for a guy who is far from the first names on the team sheet. And for the record, its not his continuing ability to pass/shift fields that I'm critical of which I agree is quality and more his general confidence in his positioning / movement. And I believe he can be better.
