PJS among others playing overseas were called up for the Nigeria friendly.

I'm not sure that its a right decision to call these players up and also that these players will be allowed to leave their respective clubs.

I'm glad that Kim Bo Kyung, Park Joo Ho, and Kim Min Woo were called up but I also question calling up old defenders like Lee Young Pyo.
    What do you guys think?

The link is about Choi Tae Uk to Seoul.

Didn't Nigeria request the friendly squad consist of 75% or more of the players in the WC match?

    edited. thanks.
Not sure that Nigeria requested that. However, JGR has been saying since he became the manager that he expects to use his overseas players for the friendly.

Thanks, site is pretty good in English. Haven't been there in a while due to the French translation. Found an article about Dzenan Radoncic and his goal of obtaining citizenship and making the KNT.

Anyone think he's good enough to make the squad?

Cho Kwang-rae doesn't have enough time to prepare for the Asian Cup. He is not going to make big change in personnel.

He probably is, but the problem is that he's already played for his home country so he'd be ineligible to play for the KNT.

If that was a friendly game it doesn't count. If it was an official game he's fcked.

Well... As a professional footballer, I'm pretty sure he's well aware of his eligibility. Just mindlessly announcing that his desire is to play for Korea wouldn't make sense..

Even if Radoncic was eligible, there's no way in hell he would be starting 11.
