Franco would be the most realistic of the 3 as he may be available;would be good for half season signing (Mapps remaining salry and the philly allocation $).I think Bofo would be boon with the local Chivas supporters.. but I think he is under contract still.
Of the three that would excite me the most for the potential of a long term signing would be Vuoso, but he just signed with America.

If its one of the three I say Franco on a half year deal.

Aren't Franco and Vuoso mostly strikers?

    We need a central mid.

I think it's against MLS policy to do half year deals, unless they negotiate the price for more years in advance.

I would like to vote a "Hell no" on Bofo Bautista.

    What about Zinha?

If they can get Franco, surely it would have to be for a longer deal. I think he would be good for at least 10 goals a season if healthy.

nevermind, I just reread the DP rule.I was thinking there was a special incentive for a half year contract, but that was the combo of a mid season signing and allocation money.I still say Franco looks to be a realistic signing for the club.

Please!!!!!!! No BoFo!! The "Mexican Ronaldo" ha! Nery is a nutcase but he wants to score and win. Bofo is just a clown. We already had Bozo in Chicago. Marquez would work. Gio would be great and Franco good. Not sure who else I would want. Maybe it's Oswaldo !!!!!

I think Zinha is fantastic, and would be just what we needed. However, I have no clue if this is possible, or if it'd piss off the people who came to see Nery, or if that matters.

I also remember how good Gimenez was with Pachuca, and he hasn't really found his form with Cruz Azul. He could do very well for us.

Chaco was a beast for Pachuca. I would love to see him in a Fire uniform.

The print version of the Tribune this morning said that the Mapp trade was to clear a roster spot and cap space for Nery to come in. It didn't say anything about a second DP. But then again, the trib doesn't really come off as an expert on Fire matters.

I could be wrong but I don't think he's Mexican n certainly not a mex intl. I wouldn't mind that short Columbian guy with the long hair and bandana I think they call hi
    Chilindrino or something like that.

Zinha is a naturalized Mexican, and calling those guys in pisses some Mexicans off for whatever reason.

For me, Zinha would be QUALITY as a central midfielder in this league, same with Chaco gimenez....

Whats up with that colombian that was tearing it up with pachuca at one point, and then went to America and fell off sort of?

I'd be content with that. Of course, he wants to stay in Europe but he should be reasonable. He can make just as much money here and probably be better appreciated by fans all while living in his home country in a city he already knows.

    Andres Chitiva?

Last I heard is he is on the bench at Atlas. Don't know if he would do well in MLS though. His game is more suited for the Mexican League.

Wow! Didnt konw that about Chitiva! He has speed though... and in MLS that kills! If he is that deep, then no DP... but i'd like to see him here anyway! Good winger who can score!

I feel like most MLS teams are missing that type of creative player. Like Ludueña, Manso, and the player I would love to see in MLS, Damian Alvarez.

Is it inevitable that the Fire will add another DP? I haven't heard any reports but I'd like to assume our FO is looking to add another DP after the Red Bulls got Angel, Henry, and Marquez.
