buddle's touch looks off and donovan is getting crowded out. i dunno, but whatever they're doing right now isn't working. Maybe trying to beat the defenders out wide and getting some crosses in? Then again, that's when PR counter and look dangerous. Got to give PR credit so far.

This is ridiculous. were supposed to be the best team in MLS. what happened to all this "were taking it very serious" it looks like the only team up for it is PRI. If they're going to take this tournament like this i prefer we get knocked out. I wouldnt want to be humilated by a bunch of MFL teams like Chicago in the Superliga. HORRIBLE!!!!! ........on a lighter note does anyone else love that new direct tv ad?? I love it lol "I jump in it" hahaha

I love our fans. team booed off at half-time. overheard comparisons between bruce and he who's name shall not be spoken. we seem to be a team in translation, no longer the absorb and counter, we're taking the game to our opponent, but can't get back on defense fast enough. our central midfield doesn't seem to serve much more purpose than serving as a gateway between the wingers. I know I risk ridicule but we could really use someone like beckham in the middle. someone who can pick their head up, slow the game down and pick out a forward pass everyonce in a while. having said that I won't be too disappointed to exit the tournament early and focus on the shield and mls cup. we were never going to win this tournament. personal I'd rather we were still in the usoc.
yeah the attendance seems really weak. They really need to promote this better, we have the stadium there is no excuse that we cant get at least some sort of atmosphere going.
I can't believe Berhalter is starting in a game this important. I'm hoping Bruce will have the guts to take lead foot Gordon out and go with as much speed as possible. That's the only way we will come back from this. Franklin is the only player that is playing with urgency right now. Hopefully they will come out with a little more cutting edge. Donovan seems a bit pasive as well. Just not feeling why you don't bring the starting 11 for the first leg and get a good lead. There is no way that even Lewis should be on here.

And leonardo does not do a great job in the 6 yard box on corners, much like san jose's second goal Thursday. Bruce so far has screwed the pooch. Not starting a more versatile bowen was a mistake. Now we need 2 against an 11 behind the ball side.
