Am I way late in posting this? Or have you guys seen this?
    As reported on KCAL9.
    http://www.tribalfootball.com/ac-milan’s-ronaldinho-set-join-la-galaxy-august-992791

Fox Soccer Channel reporter Nick Webster is of firm belief that all the speculation will come to a head by the end of July.

“You heard it here first… Ronaldinho will be an LA Galaxy player by the end of the month!!!” Webster posted on his Twitter site.

Yes, you're way late. There's been way more stuff that's been said since then, and as of yesterday, it seemed like a deal was close. But today, Dinho's brother-agent made it sound like he's staying at Milan. This is a game that the European clubs play all the time. In N. America, we're not used to it, which means that some people are jumping the gun on announcing Dinho's imminent arrival. Until it's 100% official........

My view on the matter is that I don't think it's going to happen. At least not this year. Maybe when his contract runs out. But I always thought he wanted to go back to Brazil. I'm not sure what would bring him to the Galaxy; the money would have to be well beyond what he could earn elsewhere.

I just want to note what a class organization in every sense of the word is Barcelona. Barca with their cashflow problems, had every right to hold Henry and
Marquez's contracts for transfer fees from NY. Even when they had no plans for the player they acted in a manner of respect and humility.

It's already gonna be huge. Biggest game of the year. I hope it stays as a marquee national rivalry in future years. There's not a lot of US sports in which LA/NY is the big matchup.

I would go on to say that MLS is actually the only Sport that could actually harness a real NY/LA rivalry unparalleled in another sport.

Also, this Ronaldinho thing is back on. Italian media report just advised that Ronaldinho is weighing his options and did not train with teammates. http://sportitalia.com/shownews.aspx?id=15052

I'm expecting more weeks of drama. I might just tune out for a while on this one.

    Ronaldinho's future still uncertain

Certainty there will be none until the next week but tomorrow Massimiliano Allegri will be without him in the friendly debut for Milan in Varese: Ronaldinho's future remains in doubt because the Brazilian is still undecided whether to accept the bids of Los Angeles Galaxy or remain in Europe to try to regain his national team after the change of coach on the bench verdeoro.
Arrived in retreat in optimal physical condition, even today the Brazilian has not worked with the companions with whom he trained only on the day of commencement of the withdrawal at Milanello.

He started a custom program that will blow tomorrow's friendly, since it also had to overcome a stomach flu that caused him to lose more strength.
Roberto de Assis, Ronaldinho's brother and attorney, arrived in Milan yesterday and in the coming days will speak with Adriano Galliani to figure what to do with a contract that expires in 2011 and that Milan would also be willing to extend, but spreading the engagement, as they have done other Rossoneri players that were coming due next year.

Silvio Berlusconi has been very clear in explaining day of the gathering line of red and black society that aims very much on Ronaldinho.
The position of the Prime Minister certainly did not leave indifferent the Brazilian, but the meeting between Galliani and Roberto de Assis will put an end to doubts about its future.
It will not be the only encounter that awaits the Rossoneri before the trip to the English end of July: Another player who should clarify its position and Gennaro Gattuso and one of his attorneys, Claudio Pasqualin, said nothing has been decided yet .

The interest is there but the Olympiacos midfielder Rossoneri must first speak with joy and with the company and then decide his future.
Tomorrow, meanwhile, will release the first season of the new AC Milan against an opponent's level, as the Varese is newly promoted to Serie B, and you begin to understand the ideas of Allegri tactics that will have a rose is still incomplete without the veterans from World.
The initial training will be deployed with a 4-3-1-2 with Seedorf behind the pair-Pato Borriello.
Among the new purchases immediately Papastathoupolos field on the right wing while Amelia and Yepes will probably in the second half.

LA Galaxy should go for Ronaldinho, I believe he still has the potential to become the best player in the world again.

It's seeming really unlikely at this point that Dinho comes. I have a feeling that his brother is just using these outside offers to leverage some power with Milan.

Reports are saying he is staying. Bad news for us. So what happened to Fox Soccer Channel reporter Nick Webster is of firm belief that all the speculation will come to a head by the end of July.

There are also reports from Italy that he isn't training with the team because he is leaving. There are other reports saying that West Ham is trying to lure him. Basically until there is report from the player saying he has signed, I would ignore reports.

    This.

Plus they not only accept no sponsorship money by wearing UNICEF on their kits, but PAY UNICEF about $2.5 million a year.

The only thing that causes my concern is that all NY needs to do now is tighten up their back 4 a bit and they can go from the number 2 in the east to number 1. A number 1 that may become better than Columbus in the long run and give LA a truly worthy adversary. But...,maybe I am just being paranoid.

    Nick Webster = Epic FAIL

As is reported on ESPN Soccernet... Ronalinho not going anywhere:

    http://soccernet.espn.go.com/news/story?id=810207&sec=transfers&cc=5901

Should have figured it was too good to be true. AC Milan wasnt going to make the same mistake twice. Great now having David Beckham on our team is like owning a Jaguar XJ7 with a blown engine and cracked front axle.

Sorry for the Raul taint swingers.... his pressence here will be absolutely meaningless. He hasnt been relevant for over a half decade now. His name won't register one blip on the attendance radar.

Sucks about dinho.... we could always dream tho!!

Yeah no kidding. This sucks for us. I can't really think of any other name on the market right now that could not only pack seats, but do awesome stuff on the pitch. Oh well. The dream was fun while it lasted.
