totally changing the subject back to the thread title.... La Gazzetta gave this little blurb: Proposta Galaxy: "Donovan per Dinho". meaning the Galaxy are proposing a swap for Ronaldinho. I couldnt find any article at all or anything else written and I don't for one moment buy this, but, thought it might be worth mentioning...
I guess I'm buying into all these Ronaldinho rumors because I really expect the Galaxy to announce his signing within the next week and I expect him to make his debut in front of close to 100k people versus Real Madrid. My hunch would sound crazy if not for the fact that I am a LA Galaxy fan, and then it sounds totally logical.

My two cents: The Dinho thing is typical of the hullabaloo surrounding the big players, and Dinho's brother shops Dinho around like he's selling door-to-door carpet. I'd have to put that one in the 'we'll see' category. Conflicting reports about Dinho in an LA Galaxy photo shoot, on the one hand, and him committing himself to Milan, on the other. If not Dinho, then who? Not sure. Raul is inches from singing with Schalke. Materazzi: hell no. But not because he's Italian. And not because he's old. Because he's not good any more.
This is what I agree with, Dinho's brother/agent wants to make this out to be a big move (a la Lebron). Personally, I think Lando will go to England (although I prefer him to stay) and the Galaxy will use some of that money to buy Dinho. PS - sorry to use lebron and bbal, I hate both bball and lebron.
Dinho is almost past his prime. But he would have put lots of butts in the seats and sold jerseys like hot cakes. Oh well. Who can the Galaxy look for now? When does the transfer window end? Isn't it soon?
