3rd seems fine to me. Does anybody other than Vandamm have a problem with this date? If not - I say we start August 3rd, so we won't complicate things for Wendys as well.
This is true. The un-named missing bloke has disappeared a few times in the past without notice so who knows when he will return again. Apparently it's driving tarvinodos up the wall.
Other than tom everyone else is good to go from the beginning of August so the start date for the Dust draft will be ---- 3rd August. I realise we could start it a little later but taking into account there are three new managers coming into Dust and three of the managers in Dust are based in Europe, we may have some time issues and teething problems so I really don't want to cut it too fine. I will send out a PM to all managers tonight with the date and asking them for an e-mail address for the random draft date tool. An e-mail will also be sent to vegas2u who has kindly agreed to proxy pick for tom in his absence. Waiting on e-mail addresses from Morrison8312 and Teso Dos Bichos and then we can do the draft randomiser. Could really, really do with these two checking in sometime in the next 12-18hrs so I can get the randomiser results in and up before Wendys heads off.
Looking at the sub 1500 scores for those two I tend to think it is time for new blood. FC Weymouth only came in because of Captain Orange, wasn't invited back after the first year in Dust with no activity. Our year was all new and there was even a guy named Crazy Box that showed up before I could squeak into Dust. Another possibility is a new Division called Small Particles and watch them cream all of us like Zhirkov and FC St. Pauli last year.
I was very active last season, like I said I would. I don't think there's any need for new blood.... I was sub-1500 because I had the worst luck/draft ever. There's no problems with me last season..
Both players have already posted on this thread confirming that they want to take part in the hew season. Morrison has sent me an e-mail. Teso may be somewhere in the North of Scotland without internet. All I need is ghost e-mail to use for him and I'll do the randomiser after I've (tried) played football in 90mins time.
Good Enough. Johnno and DrHeckle look like good managers and are posting their interest. Maybe a new league or in case a team drops or dissapears during the draft.

If I haven't heard from Footy in the next 3hrs I'll open the league myself for Dust as I think Wendy's would like to be all done with that side of things before he goes on vacation.
In addition to the email from net-commish, each of you (except for Teso for whom I wasn't given an email from Fraser) should have received an email by which I've given you access to a Google doc for Dust 2010-11. I've tried to offer my suggestions for how I would use it, but it's your league's document, so feel free to adapt it and adjust it as you collectively deem fit. I would suggest trying to access it and making sure you are able to make changes when you get a chance so that we can sort out any issues like that in advance of the draft starting.
Picking last just great well i have an idea of how to set my proxy picks now which will be pm'ed to vegas late tonight or tommorow before I go
There were a few times last year where people stopped updating their roster on the google docs. We need to make sure that when someone makes a transfer it's updated in a timely matter. Just easier for everyone to see who's taken and who's not...
