Decent sequence by the Revs leading to a corner.

Edit: that should say "a really bad corner"

OK, ladies and gentlemen, it's clear that the Revs have zero capacity to score with this lineup. Sure Perovic is out there, but unless he takes a PK or a free kick within 40 yards of goal, there really is nobody who can get him the ball or come remotely cllose to getting off their own shot. So, given what Nicol put out there, he's going to be happy to come out of this at 0:0.

Oddly enough, Morelia only needs a draw to qualify, so unless the Revs score in some freak of nature, Morelia is happy to just knock the ball around and not waste too much energy.

To put it differently, both teams kicked off with a point, and it's highly unlikely that either one wants to screw it up.

In other words, this thing as got 0:0 written all over it, unless someone on the Revs does something really amazing or really stupid.

When Burnsie said they didn't have access to any league wise stats concerning the rate of injuries on grass vs rugs, I don't know if he was telling the full truth. There are probably stats suggesting injuries occur more often on turf but given they've got it at the Cavern, it wouldn't be smart to paint turf in a bad light.

I think I just saw Duval sitting behind the Morelia bench ... pressing for the 'visiting mexican supporter' vote

Doesn't 0-0 suit both teams nicely, or am I mistaken?

    It's either spelled K-h-a-n-o...or, P-h-e-l-a-n.

Hey give him a break, not his fault he is in the net. I believe he is a local boy from St. John's Prep as well. Anytime we get a local playing for our team, I am happy.

Exactly. The only thing that will turn this farce into an actual game is if the Revs score. Given their lineup, this is highly unlikely. If Morelia scores, the Revs don't have the capacity to come back.

Are we entirely sure that Khano knows the Revs are wearing blue tonight?

Perhaps stupid question, but who is on the roster that isn't on the bench?

    Gibbbs
    EJ
    SJ
    Nyassi
    Ralston

    that gets me to 19?

    What about the trialists?

Here's my second-half prediction: a goal by Pat Phelan from long range is the difference-maker in this one. Revs secure home-astroturf advantage for the semis.

I love Mansally's energy, hate Khano's. Phelan has been solid, Niouky has been out of position. Bad free kick by Perovic, Terrific one from Tierney.
All this is just exemplary of the roller-coaster season so far.

Love the half time commercials on Telefutura. There apparently is a revival meeting sponsor which cures the crippled and infirmed. One of the attendees just threw down her crutches and walked!!!

Quick, someone call and reserve space for the entire Revs bench.

He either futilely tries to dribble through 3 people, pass to someone who's apparently in the next zipcode, or puts a "shot" in the upper deck.
