I need to choose a cultural aspect that is preferably specific to Uruguay for my Spanish class. I chose Uruguay because you guys own and I'd really like to speak on a cultural aspect that is football related. Anyway whether you can help or not I appreciate you reading.

My friend I would not trust a base head such as Manyaraña Recargado... his kind are known to lie about EVERY THING... especially about the one thing his kind say they "love"..
I'm sure Manyaraña Recargado and his slack jawed idiot paint and glue sniffing moron friend would like to help but their help comes at a price... a jug of wine, a plate of food and a few bucks to support their PASTA BASE habit (Pasta is a form of crack)....

For starters Manyaraña ******** REAMARGO is known to be confused about a great many things.... as for football, miss (because he use to be a Brisco working Blvr Artigas) ManyaLADILLA Reamargo will give you a MADE UP CONCEPT of his sad ass club now known as Fiscus Capital and the whole made up history of that particular club that appeals to the dumpster dwelling LOW LIFES of Uruguay....

that is what i was talking about, this reluctant mono neuronal limited autonomical thinking "being" doesnt even know where the clubs zones are.because he/she/"it" works/worked as tranny/taxi boy/butterfly in the artigas boulevard street -the neighbour where afeminated club naciomal de football is suited,he thinks everybody makes a living by that pululistic habits.

also always making false statements about his poor based stadium and club colours and influential zone, ignoring that the real artigas base area was in todays Peñarol neighbour when he declared the 13 instructions of 1813.(this was not in park freezer central as they state).

and also what can you expect from people who lie about their origin, dont have an act of foundation, and therefore they lack of statute, the official book where you define official colours, and because of this they have been lying their 100 pitiful years about the "nationalist" colours (refering to artigas flag) when in reality, their filthy kit didnt originally include white, they were red jersey with underclothes blue, mixing their mediocre merge of the teams montevideo FC and urguay athletic.
then when they realized the red discolored after washes (so every one complete year when they had the money to wash it),they changed red to cheap white jersey to both, being able to renew cheap crapy kits from one season to another, and also dont being afraid washing after washing (like between 5 to 6 weeks) that soap -or detergent in their case- wont discolour their (white) clothes.and also with the years the kit became all super cheap white from kit to socks,-like when confronting their father Peñarol-,a multiuse kit to play games and also satisfy their decrepit private clients, when dressing as a tranny nurse in the boulevard near club naciomal headquarters.
And with the recicled muddy and wasted red kits they started nacional b,a B-team that has the record in uruguayan football as the only team to never have been able to grab a point in any league game.

Yo manya ladilla your brain is really shorted out from all that C*M you swallow....

Like I said your whole conception is a farce at best....

",dont have an act of foundation, and therefore they lack of statute, the official book where you define official colours"

I think you are clearly talking about your piece of $h!t club...

It is you who does not have an act of foundation its is you who's past is twisted in lies...

Like I told you B-4 ANIMAL... CURRC was one club and your piece of garbage was another made up of the DICARDED MEMBERS OF CURRC who had no power no vote and no say.....
CURRC when they officially disolved gave you a few art works their flag and their cups (that THEY won and you want to pass off as your own) to you as a gift... But the money that ran the club was donated to the english hospital because your made up fantasy of 1913 had no legal right to it... IF YOU WERE A CONTINUATION of CURRC LEAGALY THAT MONEY was yours but you are not a legal continuation of Currc so they did not give you a single PESO!!!

Mind you you were born in 1913 and Currc was finally gone in 1915
if Currc and the lie of 1913 are one in the same how is it you played each against each other....

    LIES LIES AND MORE LIES...........

typical of you and your LOW LIFE PEOPLE!!!

    MARGINADO DEL CURRC.......

As far as celebs yeah soccer players are huge celebs in uruguay but so are our national music artist so it depends who you ask.....

But manya Recargado is a huge local celeb in his own right... he is known to run around from dumpster to dumpster dressed in drag scavaging for food and anything that he can recycle, he does this at night at the witching hours like a rackoon or another trash dwelling rodent type animal.... he is also known to be the local DANCING QUEEN at transgender night spot IBIZA in montevideo on the weekends...and he is also known as the drag queen bandit or the Transexual Stick up queen whos M.O is to storm in and rob a buisness at night with a rusty non working revolver...

Popular-cultural expresions that are uruguayans only:
Murga: A type of street teather, born around 1920, with big influences of Cadiz (Spain) carnaval:

Candombe: Type of music that born with the black slaves in XIX century in Montevideo. In many neighborhoods of Montevideo all the weekends are groups of 20 to 60 or more people playing "tambores". One day a year we have a procession in Isla de Flores street called "Las Llamadas" where the biggest groups participe.

Yes, I agree. Forlan was there EVERY GAME for Uruguay, and he was one of the main reasons why we got that far.

Where was Snejder when Holland needed him? Where was Villa when Spain needed him? Iniesta scored that one goal after fouling all game, and diving all game. Forlan is a class act and one of the most humble stars you will ever meet.
