Oh great. Another Bayern reference. A year too late buddy. But hey, if Bayern raped us, and we raped you (3-0 just in case you forgot), then what does that make you guys? FCP must have a really sore asshole. Even after bribing refs.
Guys lets keep this on topic... No rape talk please... Sporting is not "officially" confirmed because their pre-season schedule hasn't been finalized.
It looks like we'll face Tottenham on the 23rd(8:06 pm) and Man City on the 25th (1:06 pm). http://www.abola.pt/nnh/ver.aspx?id=206236 http://www.maisfutebol.iol.pt/sport...tball-challenge-maisfutebol/1163917-1457.html

Where is Red Bull Arena in correlation to NYC? I'm thinking of going down to see these matches but accomodations are what's concerning me. Any thoughts from the NJ or NY residents?
You can either take NJ Transit from New York Penn Staion to Newark Penn Station which takes about 15 minutes, then walk from Newark Penn to the stadium which is about another 15 or so minutes. Or you could take the PATH train from NYC to the Harrison Stop which takes at most 25min, then walk to the stadium which should take less than 5 minutes. It really depends on where you're staying because the PATH train has various stations throughout the city (from 32nd street down to World Trade, whereas New York Penn Station is in Midtown at 34th/7th) Feel free to pm me if you have any specific questions.
idk if anybody talked about it yet but sporting are going to play in BOSTON vs CELTIC. 21 de julho Sporting-Celtic de Glasgow (Boston); http://www.record.xl.pt/noticia.asp...anal=00000024-0000-0000-0000-000000000024&h=1
Tickets will range from $20 - $120, and will go on sale at noon on Tuesday, June 22, 2010 at www.tickets.com/footballatfenway. The match will be broadcast live on NESN and plans for broadcast outside the New England market will be announced in the coming weeks.
Think I'll just watch the game on TV. The Red Sox organization already has enough money. I'm still smarting over the $60 I paid for a cruddy seat to see Benfica kill the Revolution. It's nice to see the teams here, I just wish it wasn't such a rip off. Guess I'm getting cheap.
Two friends are working so I have 2 extra tickets for Friday vs Man City. Let me know if anyone is interested.
