Indeed, Aguirre could have done a better job of motivating them in half time, failed to do so even though we picked up later on the game, but we especially needed it at the beginning of the second half. This was crucial.

Too many wrong decisions and you get this result.

Osorio gave that goal away and it was the difference because after that we were completely demoralized

yes, but the coach should have taken him out. Put in Moreno or change to 3 in the back. Aguirre did NOTHING. He didn't let the goal offside count and he wasn't responsible for Tevez's shot. He was the whole reason for the second goal though.

Didn't we have a sub left at the end?

I literally started laughing after 30 minutes in the first half...realizing Aguirre started Bofo

We lost our ticket to history against Uruguay

We waited 4 years to have Aguirre start with Bofo and Conejo

I still can't believe we wasted 2 world cups on Guille

    laughable and depressing

Everyone knew Bofo was a mistake, everyone. The fans, the press, etc. How could he be so blind? Was it his ego? I just don't get it. Why?

Aguirre fcked up against the US back in 2002 and he fked up this one as well.

Changing teams and basically being stubborn cost us.

Conejo was not a bad player but he made absolutely no "OMFG save."

Aguirre panicked, he removed Guille, started guardado and Bofo.

He couldn't even stick to his own guns.

He reminds me of Hugo and how the Media and all their hysterics basically killed that team.

Bofo was the harbinger of things to come for us.

I literally felt like I had seen a ghostly apparition when the camera panned over and there he was singing the national anthem, suiting up to play as a starter in one of the most important matches in our history.

I don't see how anyone in the world could logically reason bringing in Bofo to play, and Aguirre and his warped little brain did exactly that.

And yeah we got royally screwed on the first goal, we were playing well in the opening minutes and could have secured two goals.

But in the end we crumbled. To a side that is arguably one of the greatest teams ever assembled. Even if we could contain Messi, which I think we did as well as anyone could have hoped, we still had Tevez and Higuain to worry about.

Fate was not on our side. And we shouldn't expect it to be, ever.

Guille sucks as every puts it but i understand his role at least what hes suppose to do. but wtf was bofo suppose to do? Argie killer? i really dont understand y u would put in the one player who people didn't even want on the team at the expense of Jona and start him in the most important match thus far?

wow 4 years of waiting to have aguirre leave jona out for bofo.. have no huevos to start with a young keeper.. no huevos to go with a young TALENTED striker "chicharrito" and no balls to keep playing the format they trained more then anybody for the 4-3-3
Instead he goes for a defensive 4-4-2 which the players weren't used to this whole time. If it wasn't for Chicharito this game would have been total sh1t.. for now it's just m1erda!

    Como siempre.

Yo creo que estaria mejor que las Chivas jugaran en el lugar de Mexico. Llegarian mas lejos.

    WHY WE LOST

Biggest chokers for the Mexican team:

    Aguirre:

flamed out in a blaze of glory. terrible decisions. awful for playing old ass slow players like Guille and Conejo so much. I'm not even that high on Memo but he might have stopped that shot from Tevez. Conejo was pretty close and Memo's reach is far greater than his.

    Efrain Juarez:

for being so fuking mentally weak. That pointless second yellow he got for pushing a French player was RIDICULOUS. The ref was calling EVERYTHING and that was a sure yellow and he should have known that. There was no reason whatsoever to push the guy when the ref was giving cards for everything. He could have been huge vs Uruguay and been the difference in us still being alive.

Guille: nothing needs to be said

Osorio fuking fell apart under pressure. was just ridiculous today

Vela frail mental midget. gets hurt for everything. I could see him being the Michael Owen of Mexico, missing every WC for his entrie career.

Maza complete choke on the Luis Suarez goal. He should have had that 100%

Those are the reasons we are out. That, as well as Aguirre being exposed as a low level coach. Once we started playing good teams, they shut down his weak offensive scheme EASILY.

When Barrera came in he instantly made a diffrence, makes me wonder what could of happend had we started him instead of Bofo and Moreno instead of Osorio. Aguirre se puede ir a chingar su madre.
