This is just my prediction of the few players that will transfer from USMNT in the near future..

    Landon Donovan: Chealsea or Everton
Jay Demerit: Lower level EPL team
Benny Feilharber: He has to transfer elsewhere because his current team AGF is in the 2nd tier. I believe he will go back to a solid Bundesliga team
Clint Dempsey: With Roy Hodgson moving to Liverpool, wouldn't be surprised if they make an offer
Michael Bradley: I think he will be the money maker. Liverpool Arsenal Or Man U.
Torres: I still think LaLiga is where he will belong one day.. it's gonna take a longer time with that lackluster performance
    Bornstein: Atalante
Cherundolo: He's staying put at Hannover
Gooch: he will loaned to a smaller Serie A team
    Jozy: New Castle or Everton

According to his agent, then the most substantial interest in Feilhaber so far, is from a Spanish mid-table club that has followed him closely ever since the FIFA Confederations Cup it seems... of course the agent wont reveal the name of this club, but he has mentioned their interest in Feilhaber the past two transfer windows...

Dolo's stock went up. He had a hell of a game vs. England's quality flank players plus teams could have him on a free transfer. i wouldnt be suprised if we see him with a lower level EPL team or mid level german team.

Demerit will find a gig in a higher level coca cola team

    Beasley=mls bound

Jozy did well for himself, he's going to find 1st divison soccer somewhere in the top 5 leagues in europe

Bradley will join a champion's league quarter/semi finalist level team

Donovan will stay in MLS and go out on his mini loans to europe.

Findley will be signed by one of the better USL 2 teams

the rest will stay where they are or make lateral moves

I would. He has just signed his probably final contract at Hannover, and is likely going to stay there after his active career.

donnovan needs to come to europe again, he's good enough, we all rate dempsey here but he is no where near arsenal standard, bradley looks like he can cut it prem wise and altidore is still a bit of an enigma, useless one minute, good in the next

These predictions are starting to sound like the one-line character epilogues at the end of Animal House.

Jozy, Findley, Clark and Bradley definitely did not do themselves any favors this cup.

The only standouts were Donovan, Dempsey, Feilhaber and Cherundolo.

Without question, M. Bradley, Donovan, Bornstein, Feilheiber and Edu have all shown well and are on the way up. Putting the ball in the back of the net
converts doubters, there's no question about that and Landon has done that.
Bradley is certainly the big story though, the shaggy haired kid from the 2007 Gold Cup has played outstanding, commanding the midfield and continually pushing the ball up the field when the tempo of the game called for it.
We wwere all scared too death of having Bornstein at LB but the guy really did well against Algeria and Ghana. His stock was basement dwelling so he had nowhere to go but up.
Stock holding is Dempsey, Tim Howard, DeMerit, Torres and Cherundolo.
Dempsey could have sent his through the roof by bagging the 20 chances that he had but he still played very well and did the things that people have come to expect from him, he's gotta cut out the theatrics though.
Cherundolo was great in this Cup but he's on the wrong side of 30, and Torres is still primed for big things, can't fault him for playing nervous on the biggest stage in the world.
Stock falling, Gooch, Findley, Clark and Altidore.
We'll see how Gooch gets in to shape for AC Milan this year but he just looked too sluggish when he was on the field and I refuse to ki$$ his a$$ because he did a decent job against a plodding Emile Heskey.
Findley and Clark? Ugh, MLS players doing MLS type things on the field. They just looked in over their head.
I keep telling myself "he's only 20, he's only 20" but it really feels like if Jozy Altidore would have played at a notch-higher level it would have put us over the top.
    He's only 20, he's only 20.

BREAKING NEWS: Martin Rogers of Yahoo! Sports is reporting that Donovan is one of Manchester City's "top targets" this summer:

Big story? LOL. Aside from crashing the goal versus Slovenia, the "shaggy haired kid" was barely mediocre...at best. Played reasonable well against Slovenia and Algeria. Horrible against England. Horrible versus Ghana (including his asinine pass to Clark, setting up Ghana's early goal - Shades of US-Ghana 06).

Our midfield this tournament was about 3 notches below the 02 squad. Up top was even worse.

Ehh, I don't know about that. I'd say a mid-level EPL team sounds about right.

First off, all these people bashing Jozy's performance are great. His heads up play is a major reason we made it out of the group stage:

1 - A great knock down win to Bradley against Slovenia.
2 - Nice ball across for Dempsey that Donovan followed up.

Yeah, he didn't score and he did for sure have his chances, but the kid is 20 and there is no wonder why our attack went flat after he was taken off yesterday.

    With that being said:

    UP
Edu - He'll stay at Rangers, but he showed his quality and I look forward to seeing him and Bradley in the center for the next couple cycles
    M. Bradley - He was an animal up and down the pitch all tourney. Is a much better player going forward and at a young age will be getting a lot of good looks.
Dempsey - Takes a beating and keeps pushing. He will end up being our most decorated player on a club scene at the end of the day. Love this guy, and will get a bigger team look however, he is loved at Fulham and has fit in great there.
Donovan - He scored 3 goals in a WC, he is going to get his move to the EPL and it's going to be a big transfer fee.

    Down
Gooch - Which is unfair really because his battle to get fit over the last few months has been tremendous. It will take a few years to get back to where his stock was in '09.
Pretty much anyone in our D - The criticism of Dolo I think is unfair though. Yesterday he had a bit of a shocker, but his work in the group stage was great.

Really though, almost 24 hours on, I feel alright about it all. We showed well just did not convert which is tragic, but it goes on. And as this mornings game ends I say, "AT LEAST WE AREN'T ENGLISH!"

Yeah, Germany is outstanding but make no mistake, England embarrassed themselves out there, no energy, no fight.
And I thought OUR defense had issues.
    John Terry looked horrible.

Well it be very hard for Americans to underpreform in the World Cup.

And in that regards, Donovan came up huge. Bradely did better then expected. Howard was par (which is a good thing). Dempsey did better then expected.

That's a lot of positives and it's great to see.

Other players didn't truely rank that high. Altidore has a mythic appeal that I love but in all honestly has not showed anything on the big stage to warrant the expectations of a Dempsey or Donovan. Altidore disappointed but only slightly so... hopefully he finds himself back in the EPL but that may not be in the works.

After today's game though, England has amazing players with years of experience in teh biggest of stages... and failed miserably. I would not be able to recover if America was England and that's how we played. Aside from teh disater that was France and Italy England you have to say in teh biggest dissapointed. They should of come away with 12 points in teh group stage, and a free pass to the semi-finals. We may never see such an easy road in teh World Cup again... but England really will never see a better chance to win a cup again with a golden generation at their peak of experience against low rate national teams. What a disgrace.

You thinking that Torres and Demerit went up suggests that you really shouldn't have an opinion on any players.

I think Cherundolo and Bradley have increased their stocks tremendously. Players like howard, Dempsey, Donovan, Demerit were way too mercurial in every game to say they played really well in the WC. If you think about it the former two never had bad moments or glaring errors and played the best they could with the players around them.
I know most of you think Bradley is too good for the BL or Gladbach, but I think Gladbach has been a great team for him. I would love to see him stay in the Bundesliga and move to a slightly more powerful club. IMO, the BL is the perfect league for him in terms of the way he plays and such. A club like Hamburg, Leverkusen, or Dortmund would not be remiss in signing him.

I'll just sit here and continue to shake my head at the people...No, idiots, that can, with a straight face, say that Bradley was not impressive in this World Cup.

Nearly every journalist who's been covering the U.S. team in South Africa has said that Bradley is attracting the attention of big-time teams (and impressing all the football experts at the games). Same goes for all the guys I know who have been in the stands. They said Bradley has been the talk of the tournament.

Whether anything comes to fruition remains to be seen, but I think it's safe to say the guy's stock has gone way up.

MB could start for Manchester United, score the winning goal in the Champions League and lead the US to their first WC victory and Fairweather would still claim he's crap....
