Kind of lost in the chaos of the game is that Donovan tied McBride for second place on the all-time World Cup goals list. Each player has three World Cup goals. Bert Patenaude has four total World Cup goals to lead the U.S.

Hopefully Landon has five or six total goals before this World Cup is over.

    LD is the GOAT

Bob should move him up to striker w/ Jozy, and possibly Gomez

Not bad, considering the US doesn't consistently get out of group play. Incidentally, that was probably the most important goal so far of his career.

Not bad at all, considering it's three more than Wayne Rooney. :D

Although I guess Landon has had 3 more games than Rooney

Would love to see Donovan go ahead of Stewart and Jones in all time appearances before this cup is over.
