Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. I wanted to hug the man in a drunken embrace! I certainly gave him a cheer.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. Or he's just another one of those soccer bashers who just got done yawning from the boredom.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. people in brazil commented on him..and were generally surprised an american would cry for soccer. it actually helps the US get fans outside.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. That guy rocks! I give all you guys credit....I got so down in the dumps watching at ESPN Zone I left to go to work at half time. I don't know how you guys could stand to watch. I just kept thinking about the Czech Republic game. Left my half eaten breakfast and everything. I'm not sure how I'm gonna watch on Wed. Is there a 12 step program for this sort of stuff?
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. I felt exactly like that guy. I had tears in my eyes not only because we had fought back to tie it up, but because my 7 yr old son and 11 yr old daughter were jumping up and down, and yelling their heads off with me. Such an amazing moment.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. I didn't cry, but I made my 6 year old son cry!! He was standing next to me and a yelled so load he freaked and had to be consoled by the wife.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. What we really need is an animated .gif of that guy. Also it would be awesome if he were a BigSoccer poster.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. Dude made it on Brazil's biggest News Broadcast!
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. My mom, who is by no means at all a soccer fan, yelled so loud it scared the crap out of my 20 month old nephew. He ran to his mom yelling "Momma! Momma!" the whole way, and practically leapt into her arms.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. that's how I felt but didn't cry lol he's probably a Bradley relative lol
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. Hell, I almost cried when the team walked out to such a wonderful USA crowd, let alone fighting all the way back to tie the game. Is crying really that odd to some people? I shed tears of joy when the USA beat Spain last year and I've done it on occasion for other sporting events (like when Texas beat Nebraska on the last second FG this past year).
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. obviously the dude is passionate about the team. i highly doubt he doesn't have an account here.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. I screamed my head off. I couldn't go to the bar today but I was with my brother at my parents house. The people from next store called to see if everything was ok.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. I got a bloody nose after that goal lol Everyone in the packed bar jumped up at the same time and I accidently got smashed in the face by my buddy. Great emotion though, everyone there was hugging and going wild, absolutely amazing.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. Reminded me of the guy in 02 crying and burying his head in an American flag after Donovans goal against Mexico to put us up 2 - 0.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. lol I was just coming back to this thread to add this.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. After the Bradley goal I was running and jumping around high-fiving everyone. After the Edu goal for about 15 seconds there was a monstrous roar of joy and then me on my knees almost in a praying position with my flag on my head. I actually cried before the game watching highlights of the Confederations Cup. Real men can cry
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. I'm wondering how many other people felt like this. I had already lost plenty of sleep on World Cup time and I'd gotten up at 4:30am for the Germany match. I just wanted to go to bed after the first half. This was just like Ghana after they'd battled against all odds for a draw in the previous match against one of the tournament favorites. I was destroyed to imagine it over in two. Fortunately, I decided to go down with the ship. Yes!!! I'm still sad about that 3rd goal, but it's pales in comparison to my relief that we are a win away from the 2nd round. (and we're favored)
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. i feel you. i was watching this game at my dad's house. at half time, i was gathering my things to drive back home and preparing to make that dreaded phone call: 'im ready to come back to work'
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. My Argentine girlfriend was complaining a couple of days ago that I "don't understand the passion, no don't understand the passion of futbol". She was saying this just because I was claiming that there should be instant replay for goals, penalties, called back goals... Big things. I still have the passion and I still think that there should be instant replay.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. I'm sure I looked the same way after Baby scored. I screamed like a banshee.
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. [ame="http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XxUJo9nDvdc"]YouTube- USA vs Slovenia 2010 Michael Bradley Goal[/ame] :20 secs in is the video of him. classic. i didn't cry but i had the bug eyed, veins bulging out of my neck, screaming til i lost my voice deal going on. love this guy. i drank one for him tonight
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. That quitting attitude from some so-called "supporters" grinds my gears. Don't bother watching the next game, why don'tcha?
Re: To the fan ESPN caught crying after Bradley's goal.. texted my wife at 10:51. "we're gonna come back" she hit me back at 10:54. "I hope so" i replied at 11:38. "told ye"
