the espn graphic showed milner on the left and lampard/gerrard in the middle with lennon on the right.

that can't be right can it?

it must surely be Gerrard - Milner - Lampard - Lennon right?

Oh, yes, with loads of respect

by extension no team who couldn't beat the US on a bad day deserves to be there. Are you lobbying for a smaller field so you'll finally have a chance of winning this thing again?

This game reeks of desperation for both teams. Both teams know they wont go to far so are using this game as a false hope barometer.

England have no chance of winning the tournement. Rooney is a beast but they have NO midfield and pourous defence.

The U.S. need to take a reality check. To put all your media attention and hype on this game is short sighted. The measure of true progression for U.S. soccer is to beat the teams below you, then step up when the knock out games come. If you think beating England is your whole tournement your measuring success in the wrong way.

England has an excellent midfield whose players are being sought by Europes finest sides but i agree with you about the defence.

Gerrard playing holding mid?? Has Capello gone mad or all-out attack? I would've preferred him even on the left..

Hopefully Milner's work rate will be an asset for us.

    Come on lions!!

A journalist in the stadium says that the VUUUUU sound is maked for the stadium system sound, more than people with vuvu things. But if this is correct, why? i can understand it by any means.

Someone in the stadium can confirm this?
