Awesome. I'm hanging a US flag out the window of my broadway apt. Not the only one, a few jerseys too. It will be awesome if the whole county ever gets into it, but I have to say the community we already have is awesome.
Here in Denali National Park, Alaska. Waited 4 years for redemption of last world cup. come on boys...give us all you've got.
I'm not saying that the US is going to win. I'm just saying I've never been more excited for a match than I am for one. I've noticed this attitude around here the past few weeks where anyone who isnt completely dreading this match isnt a real US fan, and it's ridiculous.
My guess is that it won't matter who is cheering for who because of the horns. But I would think the Africans would be more likely to cheer for the United States than England.
England team (yet to be confirmed but confirmed by a number of journalists) GREEN JOHNSON TERRY KING COLE LENNON LAMPARD GERRARD MILNER HESKEY ROONEY
The rumour sweeping the Bakofeng Stadium, says our chief football writer on the scene Phil McNulty, is that Rob Green has got the nod in goal, while James Milner will start on the left in place of Joe Cole.
Yeah.. rumour is that our lineup is that.. with Heskey there it means it is probably a 4-2-3-1: ----------Green Johnson--King--Terry--A.Cole -------Lampard--Gerrard Lennon---Rooney---Milner --------Heskey
Pretty much the line-up that I expected except for Cole who I've heard has looked good in training and has been getting back in form. I think like for like Joe Cole is better than Milner but I'm not Capello. Let's go USA!
Meh, I'd say that this match is drawing even some of the most anti-soccer people out. I live in Jersey though, not Kansas City or Akron, Ohio, so keep that in mind as well.
