It's pretty specific on the FIFA site "TST-7 = Three group matches, one round of 16, one quarter-final, one semi-final and the final."
you are correct. The 3rd placed playoff is not covered under a TST. You get a final ticket if you have a TST7.

HELP! I've recently sold three un-needed guest tickets and just checked the 'My Tickets' section to find it listing my (applicant) tickets as sold too. I'd just wanted to sell the guest tickets and until recently it said that those were the only ones sold. Has anyone else had this? Please tell me this is a mistake - I fly out in two days and it now looks like most of my plans have been scuppered.
Anyone know of any other forums out there to post tickets for trade/sale? Have 2 tickets for Denmark-Japan which are likely not going to sell thru the FIFA resale site. Going to have to look for alternatives once I pick up the tickets in Johannesburg.
I bought an arg vs korea ticket, an arg vs nigeria ticket and a germany vs aus ticket. I sold the arg vs korea ticket but the arg vs nigeria ticker wasn't processed or in my summary account which makes no sense since I had the confirmation page and the germany vs aus was processed from my bank account but doesn't show up in my summar account to resell it. what the hell man? biggest sporting event in the world and it's a joke.
I thought I had managed to navigate through the byzantine FIFA resale website as it earlier had indicated that I had resold four tickets for two games. Earlier only the applicant's ticket was registered as sold but then the other three guests sold. I happened to check again and saw that for one of my games the three guest tickets were listed as if they had never been part of a resale request! My ticket was sold but my guests weren't even listed for resale? WTF! This is an embarrassment. A trained chimp randomly rapping on a keyboard could produce the same results the FIFA programmers in Switzerland or UK are doing. Jeez this is lame.
I know someone who signed up for the TST-USA tickets and purchased them, but is no longer going to south Africa. Is it a simple task to have him transfer two tickets to one of the games to my friend and I? Something tells me Fifa will make it much more difficult than that.
Well, strange things are still happening. I had 4 TST7, of which I sold 2, and I have a screenshot to prove it. However, since I will only arrive next week, and had some tickets I didn't plan to use, I gave the credit card to a friend so he can take the tickets and use it himself. Today, he went to the machine and got 3 sets of 2 tickets for the first round, but 4 final tickets !!! Now, I have no idea what's going on with the R16, QF and SF tickets and what refund will I get. Did it happen to anyone ? Also, I got shitty final tickets. Section 527, right on the goal line, way upstairs.
I have 5 sets of tickets all to matches that are listed as sold out on FIFA's website. I've put all of them up for resale because I can't attend and yet none of them have sold yet. WTF? I've gone to the website to try to purcahse tickets for the same matches that I've put my tickets up for sale for and am unable to becasue FIFA lists those matches as sold out. How can I expect for my tickets to resell on their stupid website if people that want them can't buy them?
If you put them up on the first 2 days of resales, then recover them and put them up for resale again. Lots of requests for resale put in on the first couple of days seem to have got screwed up in the system.
I've noticed before that the ticket system does not offer them back for sale instantly. It seems in the past that they get batched up and then released together each week. So if you put them for resale at the end of a week it's quite likely they would not actually reach the sale page until early next week.
Has anyone received money back yet in their account from any ticket sales? I know in the Terms, it says we will receive funds back no later than 4 weeks after the final game (11 August). Just wondering if FIFA has paid up early to anyone?
What are people whose tickets up for resale will not sell planning on doing? Especially for cities you are not traveling to? Trying to sell them in the city centers? Putting them on ebay once picked up, stipulating meetup only?
