Not bad. He spoke well. I am impressed with his play and his effort to break the language barrier. Good job playing interviewee and interpreter. I guess he may have a career after MLS (but not for a LONG time the way he is maturing!).
Dear Guys, Awesome. Now please pace yourself and save some of this mojo for the run to the cup. Sincerely, Me
Poor Dynamo fans are really feeling this A$$Whupping. Best line in there threads so far..."Im not a big drinker, but i think i may be one after tonight." In the words of Montgomery Burns..."Exceeelllleennnt"
I wonder if they had scheduled this game for 5pm because Houston wanted it so that they wouldn't experience another blackout like in last years conference final? Nevertheless, it was lights out again for the Dynamo, figuratively speaking. I did not expect a LA goal in the 1st minute I did not expect a rout I did not expect Kiro to score two let alone one goal I did not expect Alex to score I did expect to see Bowen score. This kid is stepping it up. It's kinda funny how that Houston goal happened. Who'd of thought that Ricketts attempted clearance would ricochet off Weaver and slowly roll into the goal like that? Anybody else partake in the photo session on the field? Anyone know what the heck that is for?
The Galaxy's second goal was top notch footy and Garber better explain the meaning of parity to Bruce, cos he doesnt know it or he aint listening. God this coach is good to turn this around from the shambles it was a few years ago.
Actually the LA Sparks had an Outdoor Basketball Game scheduled for 8PM in the tennis stadium. Im sure that had something to do with the 5PM scheduling
Sparks game?! WTF? Is that floor big enough for a court? Being of the field for that photo shoot was cool. Touch the grass, pose in front of the goal with your personal camera, imagining what it'd be like to do a corner kick or a free kick outside the box.
Apparently (according to the broadcast at least), it is. (Highlight for spoilers) Glad I didn't stay for that one. Stinker of a match, they lost. Complete opposite of us in terms of success. Hell, even Chivas USA is doing better in our league that they are doing in theirs. Hur, hur, hur.
for as lucky as we've been at times with respect to weathering opponents' attacks, 2 of the three goals we've given up this season have been the result of luck or at least mistakes by the other team. oh and we now have the most goals scored of any team in the league. too bad we play such a boring, defensive style of soccer. tough game on wednesday, i'd say we due for a loss, but who knows with this team.
I was thinking that this PROVES Sean Franklin is an incredible player. That he could set Kirovski up that well is amazing. It's sort of like this: Franklin is to Kirovski as Beckham was to Pavon. I imagine that Houston's season is over now. Any team that gets scored on twice by Jovan Kirovski must be completely devastated. No one could recover from that, OK. I admit, JK scored on a couple that Gordon would have put over the crossbar. Good on him for contributing. It's like the old hillbilly joke: Can't you say anything nice about Emmy? Well, for a fat girl she doesn't stink too bad. Favorite taunts last night: After Ricketts saves a Ching blast: US Reject, US Reject After Ching shanks one wide: Buddle would have scored. After the 4th goal: You're worse than Seattle.
Ha ha ha! We are teh AWESOME! What was that you were saying Jason @ MLS? Columbus is the best team in the leage over a season? .....I do believe they lost again yesterday. Oh, what's that? RSL is the best right now? I do believe they tied one of the worst teams in the league (DCU) yesterday. But go ahead and don't respect us. We're sitting on 32 points and have yet to trail! (Yeah, I'm gloating. I don't care. We have depth and we are good.)
