Chile: Kunstmann (southern beer) is the best, not the most popular. The most popular beers between football fans are Cristal and Escudo. In my region, Del Puerto is the typical beer.
I'd say that the cheap beer of choice for most younger US fans is PBR - Pabst Blue Ribbon. Bud is more popular among the American-football lot, what with the pickup trucks and the cowboys and the ole red white and blue. This is ARE country! London Pride is pretty good (forget Carling, awful stuff), and Bombardier is the self-styled beer of England. There are so many different one available though... Germany has so many too - Roggen is nice. The US, as has been mentioned, many good small breweries. Czech beer is good too, their Bud far superior to the other one; last time I was in Prague the Radegast tasted good.
In defiance of the British, we are going to drink Sam Adams (founding father) and Yeungling (America's oldest brewery) on June 12. We're also doing a huge spread of classic American favorites done gourmet style, ie: lobster mac & cheese, potato salad, pork shoulder, Memphis ribs, gourmet sliders, and one of those cakes with the blueberries and strawberries forming the flag.
