If you have cable it should be on again at 11 pm arizona time.

 

Will be an interesting game. Hopefully Aguirre uses the same keeper he'll use vs SA. And hopefully it's not the rabbit.

Yep.

My guide says the replay will be at 9pm on Telemundo (East feed), and 12am (West feed).

 

All three goalies make me nervous, I would feel more comfortable if they stretched out el Conejo a few inches, if Ochoa didn't have his one costly lapse every game(well not always costly but lapse none the less), and Michel had more experience. That's not going to happen.

I was almost 100% sure we should live and die with Ochoa, but in the last week i've been thinking if it wouldn't be wise to go with Perez. My reasons being we have gone with him in 2002 and he was solid, we went with Campos in 1998 and he was solid.

But then again, Ochoa has a bigger reach, and will stop or deflect shots Perez wouldn't. So i still think Ochoa should start and if he plays a great game like I know he is capable of we should be OK. I just wished we still werent wondering who is going to be our starting keeper.

What scares me more than the goalie position are set pieces marking and counter attack defending. but thats for another post.

 

When i think about it, Vasco starting Conejo vs South africa may make some sense. That move tells me he has no respect for their offense. Im guessing he thinks South Africa isnt going to have any scoring opportunities.

I would watch the rerun tonight, but I will be dead on friday because I have to wake up at 4:30 to be at work on time, my meetings over at 12:30 so I will probably be back in the office to watch the last few minutes
