I will be in Miami on Sunday and wont be able to watch the game. But let's talk about the squad that we want Fernandez to get together for this game.

Chile is a considerably weaker time than Uruguay, so in default we need to demonstrate a better game.

Does anyone know if injured players will be fit for this game? According to Sport5 Ben Sahar and Ariel Harush will be playing for U-21. I say we play like this:

    -------------------------------Aoute----------------------------
    Saban---------------Strool--------Ben Haim (if fit)-----------Ziv

    ------------------------------Cohen (OH NO! lol)-----------------
    Rafaelov----------------Benayoun (if fit)--------------------Natkho

    ----------------------Barda---------Schecter--------------------

    :confused::rolleyes::eek:

If you wanted to write "Chile is a considerably weaker team than Uruguay", you're completely wrong.

If Bielsa decide to put the best players, I predict Chile 5 Israel 0.

We're going to play 2 games on sunday (against Northern Ireland at 12:30 pm, and against Israel at 10 pm).
So nobody knows which players will play in each match.

This is going to be a good game. I think Israel will be able to show some good football against Chile.

And Uruguay was, is and will be a better team that Chile. You can look at both of our matchups these past qualifiers, and although they were ties, the refs limited our opportunities. Both, home and away, should've been Uruguayan victories.

    Now, back on topic.

Anyone know if this game will be broadcasted anywhere, online or on TV?

Well pardon my ignorance if Chile is considered better than Uruguay, I just looked at Chile's line-up and did not know any player except for like two of them.

Uruguay have arguably the strongest forwards in the world (Forlan scored 28 this season, Suarez-49).

yeah Uruguay haves more knowed players but Chile finished 2 while Uruguay finished in 5 place in the Conmebol qual. anyways seems like Israel will play with a 5-3-2 system....weird if u ask me, not too fan of the bunker style..

btw look who visited the Israeli team today, ex Maccabi, fan favorite Rodrigo Goldberg....such good memories of Rodrigo..! :)

    shekel....this is your lineup????

OH NO is right. except for the addition of yossi and tal this seems weaker than the side that played uruguay.

Whatever he (fernandez) does he needs to figure out which players he will be taking so if he plays kids who never played for the national team, I wont blame him.

In regards to Tamir Cohen in that defensive midfielder position........Sorry but that's a mistake. Looking back at his games for Israel, I'll never forget that game against croatia in zagreb. He runs over Modric from behind for no reason..........ofcourse free kick and 2 seconds later goal for croatia. (keep in mind that was Tamir Cohens best game for Israel).

Please get over tamir cohen,,, I'd rather play Gai Assulin over him any day. Even a forward like Omer Golan would be better in a midfield position than cohen. Maybe one day when tamir improves I'll agree........but not now.

Uruguay WAS better than Chile. The world evolves and apparently the only ones being left behind are ancient Uruguayan memories of 50 years ago. In the present, if it wasn't for us, you wouldn't have even qualified for the World Cup so I would tone it down if I was you.

And we are definitely looking forward to avenging that 1-0 defeat in Israel a while back. :D Hope it's a good game.

Yes they did suck.........I'm surprized they even played. I thought fernandez wanted to try some new blood......ziv played alot in the last two qualifiers and saban played alot since wc qualifiers 2006. Saban sucked but it was expected.....lol. I thought Ziv is an outstanding kid but recently he's played very shtttty. Why is that? Is he not the good player we saw previously or is his form just go to shyttt.

5-3-2 is 5-4-1 for this israeli team.....I'm not sure I would want to see this team play it that way. If I wanted a defensive manager than Avram Grant would of taken the reines immediatly (nothing bad against grant, I liked him back in 06).

Does anyone have a link to a live stream for Sport5 or the Chilean television channel broadcasting this match?

    89 minutes:

    Chile-Israel 3:0
    Great goal by Rodrigo Tello.

Chile deserved a 6:0 at least, but Beausejour hit the post and missed 4 clear chances.

Beausejour is such a strong and fast player but his shooting technique leaves much to be desired...if he could only hit it with some power! I still think he should be a starter.
